I very proud to think that we have an outgoing President that is doing all he can to be sure the transfer of power will go smoothly so Obamas team "can hit the ground running".I takes me back eight years ago when the White House was vandelized and robbed by the outgoing overtly childish and partisan adminstration. How nice it is to know that all the Os will be in tact on the computer keyboards. Its also nice to know that trucks wont have to go to the ranch in Crawford and take furniture back that had been in the White House for generations.Im proud of you President Bush! Im proud when I think back that you did your best to downplay the horrible disrespect presented by the Clintons and thier ilk that were forever partisan and never stopped being in campaign/war room mode. You did this in the name of bi=partisanship and country unity.I understand that this was lost on the left just as the unprecedented disrespect for the office the Clintons displayed was.

We have but a few childish ingrates in our party.By and large we have acted with integrity and grace through this post election week. The mainstream of the left-right up to the leaders of the party cant say the same of thier behavior eight years ago.Thats them though and I take great pride in being able to point out that we simply behave better in defeat than any of them ever did.Hats off to you President Bush,I wish you well.History will judge you kindly for your decisions on Iraq,I know youve paid a dear price for keeping us safe-Thank you!

I, too, agree. I remember them being so
gracious when former President Clinton and
his wife's pictures were presented. They
were treated as the honored guests they
deserved to be.

Clintons were pretty brassy to Bush 1. Didn't even meet to send them off. Turds.

The Clintons never did, and never will, have any class.

We just made history by electing our country's first African-American president. I hope his actions won't make him our country's last president.

Actually, I agree the Clintons didn't
really deserve to be treated so graciously,
but they were. But they were in the office
of President, and that office needs always
to be respected.

Obama:
I hate to see what he and his wife will do for the rest of AMERICA. After they have over taxed and run ILL into the ground.
Why hasn’t anyone ever talked or told anyone about this man and his wife being a hater of AMERICA and its people?
From what I understand the Obama’s has always been "ashamed" at being Americans
The Obama’s FLAG BURNING!
What a disgrace to all the veterans of AMERICA they gave there ALL for GOD and country……….
Someone said (Obama and the democrats deserve the same respect they have showed President Bush over the last 8 years.)
For my self I also never had any for them!
I don’t care if the Obama’s were green with red dots.
They are still raciest toward AMERICA.
They have brought shame and disgrace to AMERICA.
And now we have this going to the White House!
This is a sad day for AMERICA.
Later ARDBOY

No Truth in Clinton White House Vandal Scandal, GSA Reports
Tony Snow, a syndicated columnist and former presidential speech writer for President Bush's father, who wrote that the White House "was a wreck." He also said that Air Force One, after taking Clinton and some aides to New York following the inauguration, "looked as if it had been stripped by a skilled band of thieves -- or perhaps wrecked by a trailer park twister."
As for the critics, Barr's office didn't return calls about the GSA findings. Snow was somewhat contrite. "I'm perfectly willing to admit my error on the aircraft.
