I wouldn't want to be anyone but an AMERICAN! Even though our people are Lost and confused on most issues. I'll stand with this guy, he is our president now. I'm afraid however and in disbelief. Obama sure is a slick public speaker! Let's see if he performs. Let's see if "his people" can conform to a civilized way of living now and stop killing themselves, and maybe get jobs so I can stop supporting them! Does the infamous "racist card" still work?! Do I get one now?! How much more of my hard earned money will go to these lazy unemployed people now? We've been waiting for them to stand together with us for decades and be equal but they've had their hands out holding welfare checks, crack pipes, 15 kids, ak-47's, food stamps and buying caddies with my hard earned money!!! Let's see if they are now willing to participate in a functional way of society by acting right and getting a JOB!!! We will see. It's hard to be optimistic with their record. I sure hope Obama being elected will open their eyes and they can come together with the rest of us! Do we get a United White College Fund now? Or a W.E.T. tv station? Let's see!

Kingborg. I think you took Smitty's blog out of context. Race Race Race. I am so sick of everything becoming a race issue, get over it and move on already!!! That talk is just asking for trouble and has been used as a scape goat long enough. His people could mean a variety of things. Could mean blacks yes, also could mean his religious beliefs which nobody truly knows what those are. People assume too many things. I do have to say though I hope the black community can get rid of the chip that has been on there shoulders for so many years and get on with there lives now. Frankly I am tired of hearing about there short comings. People seem to forget who truly this land belongs to and that would be the Indians. Or lets step back and take a look at the horror that Hitler inflicted on so many families. People might want to do a little research and some reading for a change. it was not just the black community that was treated poorly back in the day.
