They are going back up! As of 1-3-09 my Chevron in Ft. Worth at Basswood and I35 went from $1.39 on 1-2-09 to $1.59 on 1-3-09.

Exxon at North Tarrant and Hwy 377 was still at $1.39 on 1-3-09.

Loves in Midlothian went from $1.34 on 12-30-09 to $1.69 on 1-1-09.

We have seen the last of the $1.35 gas.

Now the government is leaning towards adding a 12 cent tax on gasoline because since the demand has dropped so has the revenue from taxes.

If it isn't the greedy Arabs, its our greedy politicians!

Just exactly what did ya'll expect anyway. If I reduce my electric use to below 500kwhpermonth, I get penalized by having to pay a higher price perkwh. We reduce our use of gas, and look what happens. One thing they can't seem to control is our spending of OUR money. Personaly I don't spend what little I have unless I absolutely have to. They don't seem to like poor retail sales. They have their ways to screw us, that's our way to screw them.
