STOP IT !!!!   STOP IT !!!!   STOP IT !!!   Stop being stupid with investors and federal (our taxes) bailout money. Cancel all outings, junkets, trips...whatever you call them. You can't afford it and neither can we. If you already made reservations then cancel them. If you lose your deposit then you lose your deposit. Oh...and no bonuses for anyboby. If you can't or won't agree to that then give the money back. If you need money then how about selling off your other homes and maybe a boat or two. You big boys gotta take a hit too. This message also applies to other bailout companies.

Common sense is a concept that does not apply here. There are "the takers" and there are "the givers."

All of the ones to which you refer are in bed together and far above our reach. We are in serious trouble my friend. 55 years on this earth and I have never felt so vulnerable and completely out of control of my future.

I had to close my business this past summer and am forced to watch my hard-earned retirement money evaporate with each passing day.

retnj, Amen! Amen! This is the third needless spending of money on their part. They should have to give ALL of the money back! American taxpayer homes are being foreclosed in greater numbers while these jerks are still living the life of luxury on our money. They deserve prison time for frauding the taxpayers of this country!

I agree 100%. The only bailout they should be talking about is whether or not someone will bail them out of jail before their court date.

I thought they were supposed to have a overseer on this bailout. Why do we allow these creeps to walk all over us this way?

And no money to bail out automakers!

It would be yet another case of throwing good money after bad.

Your right justtold....where is the oversight. To Troy....I agree with you too. Seems like this bailout is hurting more than helping.

You really didn't think that money was going to the ones that needed most, did you?

Right Troy! No money to bail out automakers! Lets have 3 million people out of work! That will help!

If we LOAN them money it should be after the unions(who share a big part of responsibility in this) renegotiate all the contracts with the big 3. The average hourly wage for an auto worker outside of the Detroit area is $25-30 less than in Detroit. Plus all the required labor hours that must be paid per car(regardless if they were all worked) is ridiculous. It must not be a bailout; it has to be a Chrysler type LOAN.

The worst thing i see is these jerks are taking vacations and spending thousands after AIG got a hold of the money and if the government does not go after them to collect this money back from this company, then it`s just a lost cause.
If the government bails out the home owners these companies will still get their money with less of a loss.

C'mon people... I know it's fun to bash the big guy's but get real... those are NOT bonuses... it's called DEFERRED COMPENSATION! It's payroll,... already EARNED and deducted from paychecks over the last 10 years. If AIG did not pay those deferred comps, it would be equal to keeping pensions. AIG is NOT paying "bonuses"... they are simply giving employees their own pay.

Let's not be stupid... lack of honesty is what you all have been crying about. Try a little of that yourselves.

also look at arizona as a state ----" there are takers and there are givers" az is the greediest state when it comes to taking! I remember the state legislatures saying "we are a donor state" which means they will suck the government and the people dry!!!!!

No one cares who defends these Companies and i as for one do not believe bail outs are the answer because it`s our money they are playing with and when someone decides to give vacations using tax payer money,i say force them to pay that money back or lock them up.I do not care for any of these companies or if they go down the tubes, its pay back for all the years of taking advantage of a home loan that is payed 3 to 4 times over the thirty years and that`s called stealing and greed.

I'm with Troy, they put that money back into the wrong hands, WHY? Just so they can do it again? "It is their own fault that they ended up in the red."

Itr is the same with our Goverment Office(The Department of Revenue). They are telling our accountant that they were never payed. We checked at the bank to see if the check cleared, and it did clear on the 5th of November. Their telling our accountant different. So, what does that tell you abnout our Department of Revenue?

Here you go... of the $503 million AIG paid out in "bonuses" only $6 million goes to execs...and it's their money... deferred compensation. That leaves $497 million pad to rank and file employees... again, their own money.

Check it out... http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idINN1829626

So... where are you Fox 10? Are you going to report this FACT after you already said "executive bonuses"?

I'll be watching...
