Ive blogged on here a short 5 months.Ive never done this before and had a very good time doing it.As most of you know I was suspended(rightfully so)and during that time I talked with jstol3 about my being tired of battleing all the time and,as silly as it sounds , wanted to be reinstated simply so I could formally resign. jstol3 offered great support and convinced me to hang in there , it wasnt hard as all of you know this can be very addictive.Recently Ive posted and almost immediately took them down-Ive written on everything I find important and really just dont have it in me anymore. I have to belive in what Im doing to keep going and Ive said all I have to say!

The straw that broke the camels back,if you will, was that I recently started making relationships with people that were growing outside the blog(actually meeting in real life).This made my wife uncomforatable and when she expressed this to me I knew that it was the sign I had been looking for. A mans first and foremost responsibility is to his wife and family...PERIOD!We have seven kids and are plenty busy as it is.

I would like to say a few words to the people that I have had the pleasure of knowing while I was on here.

Jstol3:Youve been a great friend.We agreed most of the time and I will always appreciate your support and your service to our country-you are a great American!

dogj:You are formidable conservative warrior and I enjoyed battleing at your side!

First I would like to commend the webmasters for their ability to meter fair punishment. I deserved to be "gagged" for a few days for my participation in the "Great bloodbath of 2008". I'll spare you the details but to say the least things got out of hand and the instigator was identified and is no longer with us!

A note to my fellow bloggers:When we debate our peers in person we usually refrain from below the belt personal attacks and stick to the issues. the same should hold true here,even though we have the luxery of sitting in the privacy and safety of our own homes.

We are ALL humaqn and will respond emotionally to persoanl attacks.

Ive been VERY honest about who I am and what my life experiences have been.I do it because somthing I have experienced may help someone not make the same mistakes I have.The downside is,some on here will use these statements to hurt me when they have run out of ammunition in a political debate. I should have known better,but its out there now for the whole world to see and cannot be taken back.

We are ALL human and need to keep that in mind when we comment to one another(me included).

I started blogging ,believe it or not,to try to bring more people to the conservative way of thinking.....Boy was I naive!We are foolish to believe we can make a difference in this forum-people,just like me, arrive with their minds already made up.so i will no longer approach this venture with that naive mindset and therefore will not be as frustrated when faced with blind opposition-even informed oposition.

Anyway-Im glad to be back, I know some will be happy....some wont. I am here to stay because I like it here. To stop any confusion i should tell those that dont know i continued to blog under the name me7729,simply because i couldnt stay away that long.

Tom Robb is the leader of the ku klux klan and I just wanted to take a minute and tell you he is an ordained minister and a good christian man.I dont agree with his views on race but I do think he has a lot to offer as a christian minister. I personally have never sat in a pew and heard him say anything racial-only a normal christian message. Mr Robb has been a mentor of mine but I am not a racist. Hes kinda like a crazy old uncle that says  bombastic things. Hes from a different generation that still harbors some animosity about race relations.

I used to walk with my black grandmother and when we would pass a white person she would say things that made me cringe. These people are part of me-I could no more disown Rev Robb than I could the kkk or my grandmother.My grandmother is a typical black person.

You see this issue is generational and people from a different time find it hard to see things beyond what they know from their past.The black community needs to understand that these people have strong feelings about what has happened in the past.They mean no harm , its just rhetoric from days gone by. I do believe it will help us grow as a people if we are able to understand what makes the kkk feel the way it does.

I hope I've made my point!

I have been hearing snipets of the IPCC report that we were just given a "summary" of earlier in the year. What caught my attention was reports that we have not experienced ANY warming since 1998. Most of the report is still under raps,I can only assume because they are trying to fugure out how to make sense of it all and still be able to convince us that we are all going to die. long story short what it seems is that we are actually cooling a bit, also a NASA aqua satelite has recorded that weather patterns are compensating for the warming and a slow down in sun activity. I'll provide my source and I ask all to read(its a little long).

My intent IS NOT to say that Im right,only to show that we need much more information before we act and the latest reports show we have planty of time!

Happy Easter to all. My wife and I are making a humongus dinner. Ham,mashed potatos,deviled eggs,baked mac n cheese,brocoli cheese and rice,homemade rolls and pecan pie.mmmmm.

We went to church last night and there was much singing and dancing.We paid homage to our Lord and reflected,with thanks,as to how this holiday came about.3 very important days in world history! we are truely a blessed people!

The intent of this post is not to tell you what Im having for dinner or to educate you about the origin of Easter. What I want to do is simply express that the christianity that I know and love is not the misguided christianity that Torquemada promoted a little over 500 years ago.Nor is it the christianity of Fred Phelps and his intolerant and disgusting family.I do not agree with the handful of christians that have killed in the name of God trying to bring a violent end to abortions.

The christianity I love is the one that espouses the GRACE of our Lord.The one that tells ALL sinners, no matter what color or creed,that they will have Grace if they allow Jesus into their hearts. I love my fellow christians that know the futility of forcing our faith on anyone.I am proud of my fellow christians that use the lord as a guide in their lives but would never condone our government telling people they HAVE to practice ANY faith that they did not believe in.

Contrary to SOME christianity that promotes racism,SOME muslims that promote violence and SOME liberals that are completely christian intolerant ,the christianity that I spoke of as the one I love IS THE MAINSTREAM OF CHRISTIANITY TODAY! We are loving,non-violent,modern,tolerant,inclusive.......and we are many! Better than 80% of Americans call themselves Christian and as i've stated before,Our presence in daily life across this country IS NOT representative of our numbers. If what the libs say is true,"that we want a christian theocracy" we do a damn good job of keeping our faith out of the daily public discourse! Mainstream christianity is a peacful tolerant religion and we only wish to grow closer to GOD and let as many people HEAR the word as possible.

I got a little spiritual there but I wanted to take the opportunity presented by the holiday to,yet again,set the record straight as to christians and our ficticious "theocracy agenda".(open_eyed-did you see that helicopter? I think it had a cross on it!)

I predict Obama will not get the nomination due to the recent press scrutiny of his pastor and other associates.we've heard clamerings of these issues discussed on conservative talk radio for months now but the story has just now made its way into the mainstream press.

This is proof of the mainstream medias willingness to build up a canidate just to tear them down at a later date.We ALL heard of these things before but the story wasnt allowed to fluorish because the media was still basking in the glory of Obama that THEY CREATED,now that the "new" has worn off...he's fair game again.

Was it Hillary's constant calls that Obama hadnt been properly vetted by the media that brought this recent scrutiny? NO! It was the fact that the "rising star" story had run its course and it was now time to gain even more ratings by exploiting the "fallen angel" aspect of Obama.

The media acts as though EVERY election is their first!We dont not wish to be introduced to our canidates by a story line preconceived by some news producer in effort to gain ratings! Enough is enough! The only way to cambat this is to get your news from several sources NOT IN THE MAINSTREAM and do some fact checking yourself. if you wait for the mainstream media to properly vett a canidate...you will be sorely disappointed AFTER THE ELECTION!

Its a simple question really. Are you willing to sacrifice truth for politeness? Thats it in a nut shell. We have allowed the political conversation to be hijacked by rules that in effect place civility over honesty. For example I dont think what Geraldine Ferraro said about Obama was racist in the slightest , however I will admit that its funny to see democrats acused of stepping over the PC line by other democrats fo a change. WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!

Its not the hypocrisy on the left that bothers me , I got over that fact years ago. Its actually the hypocrisy on the right that has me worried. We've already chosen a liberal conservative as our (your)nominee,now we are making the mistake of jumping on the band wagon with liberals with acusations of racism that are unfounded.We should be defending Ferraro,not piling on with the liberals...why? because she's a lib herself?

We have an opportunity to make a point about false acusations of racism,genderism etc...but no , we'd rather try to paint Ferraro as a racist. Some will say that the dems are doing and we dont actually have to...I say lets defend her and stay true to our beliefs ,you cant change the rules of debate because you dont like what you hear!

TRUTH: Obama would not be as far as he is IF HE WERE NOT BLACK!He is a young senator with a very thin record of accomplishments. He is charismatic and a wonderful speaker but he has no meat with his potato's. If he were white he would not have been interesting and therefore would not have been courted by the media for so long.Many of you will disagree and call me a racist as well. YOUR WRONG...there are many black CONSERVATIVE canidates I've supported.

     I see some on here from time to time that acuse people that speak poorly of Islam as being racist or intolerant. At what point do we say, some behavior or beliefs are too violent and intolerant themselves to be tolerated?... Is there a point in a constitutional republic,that we can say such a thing?

I believe strongly in individual rights and do not want to "oppress" anyones beliefs but the Muslim faith,even if you ignore the violent details of the past as christians have the more fire and brimstone aspects of the old testement,it is still very violent and intolerant in spirit.

Christians are told to be "fishers of men" not that people that wont convert should be killed.God tells man that woman is to be his "helper",Alla tells his people that a woman is sub-standard to the man.

You see where I'm going...Is there a point that we are allowed to take these people to task without the acusations of unfairness,racism,etc...?

1. A conservative is called racist when he wont support "affirmative action"

Truth: "Affirmative Action" Makes decisions based on the color of a persons skin or ethnic background.

2.Conservatives ARE racist and we would still have slavery if liberals werent around to make us see the errors of our ways.

Truth: Abraham Lincoln was a conservative and many conservatives worked hard to support equal rights in the sixties.

3.Liberals are champions of women and minorities and see the goodness in them that conservatives cant see.

Truth: Conservatives believe ANYONE can achieve in this country and no special rules or arrangements need to be made for them. Conservatives believe ALL people are worthy of success and have the ability to perform.

4."Rich" conservatives will never let the poor get ahead.

Truth: Most entrepenuers are conservative(or soon become fiscally) and take great pride in watching their bussinesses grow and their employees prosper along with them.Statistics prove that conservatives give to charities in far greater numbers than liberals.( Iguess their holding out for a new social program)

5.Conservatives are Christian zealots and practice intolerance and hate.

Truth:88% of Americans call THEMSELVES Christians.Even though we are the majority by large numbers we are tolerant enough that we.ve allowed ourselves to be under constant attack and the representation ALLOWED by the minority of non-christians of our religion Does not represent our larger numbers.ie:We are VERY tolerant of other peoples beliefs and wish only to be able to express our religion/beliefs with the same tolerance society allows homosexuals,muslims etc...

6.The "rich dont pay their share of taxes.

Truth: The richest 1% of Americans pay 50% of our taxes. The richest 50% pay 94%-96% of our tax bill. the Bottom 30% PAY NO TAXES AT ALL!

7.The US is wire tapping All Americans and will send you to Guantanamo if they dont like what you say.

Truth: The US is tapping phones that are known or suspected of having terrorist links. They still have to do studious police work and MUST be justified in any tapp after the fact. These men have accountability and can be imprisoned if these tapps are abused. This is done to prtect against terrorist . Remember how we raked our politicians over the coals for not be "on gaurd"enough prior to 911?Well now they are "on gaurd" and we will be safer for it.If you have no terrorist ties you should fear these wire tapps NOT.Also as an American citizen you are subject to the fairness of our legal system and COULD IN NO WAY EVER END UP AT GUANTANAMO!I for one do not think terrorist qualify for such fair treatment. If you disagree....ask Daniel Pearls wife how she feels about it!

8.Conservatives are war mongers and wish to plunder other countries for oil and treasure.

Truth: The US is the only country to EVER spend so much on a military and military missions and have NOT GAINED ANY REAL ESTATE in the bargain. We wish only to help the oppressed and spread freedom where we feel we have an oportunity to help freedom to take hold.We LEARNED our lesson of isolationism in wwII and WILL be preemptive to protect ourselves and our allies.We spend far more money than any other country worldwide to eliminate poverty,oppression and RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE and we are accused by others and OUR OWN of being opportunistic murderers.

9.Conservatives would force a woman to have a child ,even if it would kill her.

Truth: A small minority of of the extreme religious right would make the case that ANY child conceived is"Gods will".I think their point has merit but I believe there are a few situations in which if done in a humane and timely manner some pregnancies may be terminated. I would never expect a woman to carry a child that was a product of rape. I would never expect a woman to go to term if the process puts her in grave danger.However I will not jump on that bandwagon that believes a known severe birth defect warrants an abortion.Why?...Because that IS Gods will. God makes some of us with special needs and has a purpose for the afflicted OR their caregiver.People grow when they face adversity.

10.Consrvatives want Christianity to be a sactioned religion of our government.

Truth:Our religion does not allow for someone to "practice" that doesnt believe. You ,personally must make a coventant with God based on the tenants of the Bible. this cannot be coerced or forced upon anyone.We as Christians know that and see the futility SPIRITUALLY in such an exercise.If you consider that 88% of Americans call THEMSELVES Christians you could argue most of our work is done.We dont need the government to sanction us,the peace and love of God that we experience when we open our hearts to Him speaks for itself and it spreads on its own.

We have all done a fair job of discussing the issues of the day as they pertain to our Presidential canidates. Lets change it up a bit and discuss the basic differences of party philosophy or liberalism vs conservatism . I want to hear from ALL of you and your "reasons" for your self assigned political titles. I'm really not going to be happy to hear from the "centrist" or "moderates" but I DO welcome them(I've got somthin for you guys)though. Tell me why you are liberal or conservative...and I guess a centrist as well. I will offer an admittedly simple and bombastic comment to get us started.

Liberalism is a cancer on societies and it sapps the people of their will and resolve.

"SUPER DELEGATES"! Wow. The democrats have "super delegates". I consider myself politically "informed" and this was a new one on me. Maybe I should pay more attention....as if thats possible!

Anyway, as ive written on here before-the prersent democrat party is not the same party of JFK ,the working man and civil rights leaders of the sixties. The party has been hijacked by sixties leftover,baby boomer radical activist/socialist. This is evident in the current democrat platforms from both democrat canidates. Government healthcare,anti-war,anti-capitalism...its the same mantra from the sixties...and evidently the deluded boomers still eat it up and the more moderate democrats from "back in the day" dont feel thay have a choice....but sure as hell wont vote for a republican "fat cat".

What I find interesting is that the "super delegates"draw a distinct picture of the main flaw in liberalism whether it be mordern or old school. In 1972, the year the democrat party started relying on "super delegates",they did it to ensure the more "knowledgable" or "seasoned" party officials would have an "ace in the hole" to BE ABLE TO OVERRIDE THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IF THEY DECIDED TO FOLLOW ONE OF THE "NEW RADICALS"THAT THE DEMOCRAT ESTABLISHMENT DIDNT FIND DESIREABLE.

 I think it a bit funny that NOW the "radicals" control the party and are faced with possibly overriding the voice of the people for Obama or Hillary,depending.....on whos slightly behind.I think it could spell disaster for the democrat party.

This is fair? democracy? Super delegates? No its not a fair system but it speaks to how liberals see the world and our government. The way they see it,, we are all idiots that dont know how to live our lives properly. We don not possess the compassion or wisdom to make the correct decisions...they must do it for us...EVEN IF IT MEANS TAKING AWAY RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES SUCH AS CHOICE OR OUR MOST BASIC RIGHT TO VOTE!

Think about it.... is that not what the democrats of the sixties did to "protect" themselves from the possibility of a "poor choice"of a canidate the "establishment" didnt agree with.?Is it the new media era we live in thaqt finally brought this attrocity of democracy to light?

If this doesnt make you think twice about the political party you belong to....I dont know what will! Absolutely unbelievable!

I think its possible,given the dissatisfaction with Mccain by conservatives and the fact that Romney is no longer in the race that Huckabee may sweep the remaining primaries.

I hope all of you realize we are wittnessing a historic election on both sides!WOW! What a race.
