this is the neatest idea which began with school children in tennessee knitting new born caps and it grew from there - hope you can help. If
you knew you could keep a newborn here at home or somewhere in the developing
world warm, well nourished and free from infection for just $10, would you take
a moment and make $10 contribution online today?
Hope Through Healing Hands (HTHH) is partnering with
Save
the Children to deliver Newborn Care Kits to those in need.
Within
the next few weeks it is our hope that we will be able to raise the additional
$5,090 we need to provide 509 newborns and their families with one of these
kits.
I
hope you will consider supporting us today with a contribution of $10 for one
kit, $50 for 5 kits or $100 for 10 kits.
I have personally witnessed the difference we can make in the lives of families
struggling to provide a stable environment for their newborn. With simple
things like soap and a warm knit cap we can help save a life. I hope you will
consider this worthy cause.
With deep gratitude and a happy holidays,
Bill Frist, M.D.

Postponing
Mandatory IRA Withdrawals
“It’s pretty hard these days
to turn on a TV or pick up a paper without hearing or reading about
bailouts. When Congress passed a bill in October providing around $800
billion dollars to help the US financial industry, I voted against it, as well
as an earlier version a few days prior. Now, we find ourselves in the
midst of yet another potential bailout, because even as I write this column,
the Senate, followed by the House of Representatives, is holding hearings on
Capitol Hill to determine how more taxpayer money could be spent to bailout the
auto industry…”
