While blogging at Fox (national) another blogger said:
Jim says: “…This whole charade that only the goverment can do something is insane. This is the most arrogant admin this country has ever seen.”
flyovermark says: Yes, and no, Jim. There have been other administrations with just as much arrogance, but none with the operational tempo of this one. That, I think, is their biggest strategic mistake. Ram-rodding all the blatantly socialist programs through a compliant Congress (who voted without even bothering to read the bill) has served to shock the electorate. Most people, Republicans, Libertarians, and Democrats alike, just aren’t ready to make the big leap to surrender our remaining liberty for the tyranny of socialism. It is that hesitation makes not only Obama’s marxism a target, but all the socialism that has crept into the Republic beginning with the NEW DEAL. Whether it will be the GOP, a revolt within the Democrats, or some other third party that rises to the challenge, whoever it is that successfully argues for dismantling Roosevelt’s unconstitutional social programs, will cut the heart out of the so-called “progressive” movement and restore the Republic to a constitutional government. That, in my opinion, would put an end to this nonsense once and for all.

Hello, everyone! I've been in exile on the national Fox news website since the MyFoxKC blogs disappeared. There I have been busy as heck twisting the tails of liberals, and generally making a nuisance of myself under the pseudomyn flyovermark (without the "_" ) Just a quick post to see if this thing still works.
Thank you Mr. Obama, it's good to know that the government we serve has our long-term interests at heart. Your bill underlines the basic truth that Americans have so little understanding of; that the ends justify the means. Whatever suffering results from immediately discouraging the use of fossil fuels has on the American public, it is far outweighed by the benefits of widespread use of alternative energy. Someday, after the stories of elderly deaths caused by inability to pay the higher costs of heating or cooling their homes with existing sources of energy have abated, such alternative sources of energy may be available, and you will undoubtably be heralded as a visionary statesman. Perhaps then, May 4th will be also be known as Barrack Obama Day along with the birthdate of Karl Marx. I'll celebrate it by burning an old tire in your honor.
Which is the party of racism?

Just because they say it, it doesn't make it true.
There have been a lot of liberal fingers pointed at the Republican party accusing racism. Some of the loopier ones attrribute the recent presidential election as proof. They even have the gall to claim Democrats are the party of racial equality. Yet history tells us otherwise. Decide for yourself.

Socialites Face Ruin as Ex-Nasdaq Chairman Says Scheme Was 'One Big Lie'
Saturday, December 13, 2008
"The FBI’s criminal complaint states that when two federal agents arrived at Madoff’s apartment, he told them: “There is no innocent explanation.” The agents say that he told them “he paid investors with money that wasn’t there," that he was “broke” and that he expected to go to jail.
The FBI complaint states that Madoff told his sons that he believed the losses from his scheme could exceed $50 billion. If that is the case, his fraud would be far greater than past Ponzi schemes and easily the greatest swindle blamed on a single individual."
The real "greatest swindle" is ongoing. So, who's picture are we going to put on the front page when Social Security implodes? One Ponzi scheme is like any other.
