Another promising speech  full of empty promises, by our President, who delivers promises so well.

The truth of the matter is if embryonic stem cell research was so 'promising' it would have been going full steam under private funding.

There have been no advances made with embryonic stem cells. That can not be said about the advances  made with adult stem cells.

Those who 'excuse' the use of embryonic stem cells with the statements of them being only thrown away if not used should realize that what they should be apalled at is that they were ever 'made' in the first place.

If we don't stand up for the sanctity of life, how can we expect people to stand up for any principles in their lives at all.

A 'marriage' of people or ideas are where two equals fit together in such a way as to no longer be able to distinguish whether it is one  or two separate entities.

When it is people they are equal and face to face, eyes to each other, and heads at the same level.

When one is subserviant , or turned around to accomodate, the equality is lost and so they are not equal.

Equality is why Eve was made from the rib of Man, not from the clay to be walked on, or from the cloud to be grasped at and never held.

Marriage is more than a partnership, just as a covenant is more than a contract. A covenant brings together a family, a blood relationship with another, this is signified by the sacrifice of animals in the Old Testament.

A contract is just a legal agreement.

Gays may seek a legal contract, but they can never achieve a blood relationship with their love of a same-sex partner.

This truth is not subject to the laws of man because truth never is subject to them.

April, I've head it a couple of times this morning that these women are Roman Catholic priest. If you check with any authority of the Roman Catholic Church you will see your information is incorrect at best. It doesn't even make any difference which women you might ever talk about, if they claim to be Roman Catholic Priest, check with the Archbishop, he will tell you their status in the church.

If I said I was the King of Ireland I'm sure you would want to know by whose authority I say this, and in checking you would say I overstated my position.

Authority in the Roman Catholic Church is the issue here as well, The priests doesn't have it, the women don't have it, and the parishioners of St. Stanislaus don't either. Don't believe me.  Ask Archbishop Burke or the Pope.
