April, I've head it a couple of times this morning that these women are Roman Catholic priest. If you check with any authority of the Roman Catholic Church you will see your information is incorrect at best. It doesn't even make any difference which women you might ever talk about, if they claim to be Roman Catholic Priest, check with the Archbishop, he will tell you their status in the church.

If I said I was the King of Ireland I'm sure you would want to know by whose authority I say this, and in checking you would say I overstated my position.

Authority in the Roman Catholic Church is the issue here as well, The priests doesn't have it, the women don't have it, and the parishioners of St. Stanislaus don't either. Don't believe me.  Ask Archbishop Burke or the Pope.

Is this the same Archbishop that has cried over those millions of dollars at St. Stanislaus....the same one who shunned Sheryl Crows involvement in raising nearly a $1 million for the Children's Hospital....or the one who thinks he's God and can decide if one is worthy of getting communion...oh, and the same person that thinks the SLU basketball coach was out of line for exercising his rights of freedom of speech? I think Burke is losing his charisma and influence - today is just a last ditch effort to try and manipulate another human being.

Many say the same for President Bush, he's lost his charisma and influence, but we still have to follow the laws of our land. If you choose to be RC, you follow RC Law set by the Pope, or you choose not to be catholic.

universal rules to live by... As adopted by the Catholic church...

Rule 1- The boss is always right...
Adaptation of rule 1 by the church-- The church is infalable.

Rule 2- In the event that the boss is wrong refer back to rule 1
Adaptation of rule 2- The Church is infalable.

Rule 3- If you disagree with the boss you suffer no concequences except temination.
Adaptation of rule 3- Disagree with the Church go directly to hell do not pass puragatory do not take communion wafers or wine.

I am proud to say That I am a Catholic... I am also proud to say that I am going to hell because I don't agree with all the Catholic church says or does... See ya in hell folks I'll keep a seat saved for ya.

Wow....enough of the hell bit. Let's change our hell here and get out and vote!

AB Burke trying to throw his weight around again? He'll probably give the buy 30 minutes then turn down any negotiations. And, what's to negotiate - isn't this money the St. Stanislaus's anyway?

Hell no our gov't doesn't even stand up to its initial premise to a RIGHT TO LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. It wants to turn it around so our pursuit of happiness is paramount to a right to life, or liberty. The founding fathers spent weeks wording these documents in a priority first easy to understand, open to all who believe we were created.
That doesn't mean we trash it all and start over. We just have to get back to the basic truth of freedom. Freedom to live is first. And a gov't is formed to protect those freedoms for those who can't protect themselves. If you have a right to kill them, then you have a right to kill 'em all.

If having women priests brought in a good amount of money, I am sure the church wouldn't mind.
