Trail of Corruption and Prison Terms

I am surprised as to how many Governors and political figures have been involved in, or had knowledge of criminal acts that, for some reason, many continue to be swept under the rug. The latest with Gov. Blagojevich is one of several. He is being charged with fraud and faces prison, the Governor Prior, George Ryan, is serving a 6 year prison term for fraud and racketeering, fund raiser Tony Rezko, is awaiting sentencing on fraud and other charges. Some say Obama was aware of the Governors plan to auction the Senate seat to the highest bidder, some say he was not aware of the plan. It really does not matter if Obama was aware or not, because the small fish will take the fall no matter what. There is a trail of corruption and prison terms in the state of Illinois political arena and I for one, find it hard to believe that Obama served as an elected official and did not know about any of it. And don't forget about ACORN........

Can you believe Jesse Jackson Jr was bidder #5 for the senate seat??? He says he had no knowledge of it - but he was another one raised in a family based on lies

For the last 20+ yrs. Obama has surrounded himself with corrupt people with do character or ethics. Politically, he grew up and was mentored by these people. To assume he is not corrupt and of low character would require, to quote another corrupt politician, "the suspension of disbelief".

goldbug-you said it all in a nutshell--NP- none of us are really surprised, I expected there was a whole closet full and it is finally starting to be cleaned out. There is no doubt, more to come on our Honorable,Pres, elect.

Looks like america pickD a new route muslim or not!The majority wanted OBAMA so obviously the majority like OBAMA.Besides it was over before ARIZONA even finished voting.So in a way only a few states hold our future.And we as arizonans are not the 1s to decide.

the whole voting process should be revised-I still wonder how much ACORN had to do with the outcome-and how many votes were fictitious

I say the latter-the election was all about making change in the color of skin = not so much change in any other area-and I don't need the racist comments-I am not racist-If any honorable,experienced,legitimate citizen of color who was not associated with corruption,speculation,lying,cheating etc. were to be elected I would be thrilled

obama has learned from what is admited to be the most corrupt state in america, he knows how to lie and decieve, he fooled 55% of americans and won the election and has been back peddling on his campane promises everysense, my consience is clean. to bad obama is not.

Obama said on cnn - he nor any member of his staff are aware of, nor had anything to do with the sale of the senate seat...Clinton-I did not have sexual relations with that girl!!! Same thing?

oh yea azbob-back peddling? he can't do it fast enough!!! seems EVERYDAY he says something about having to wait "maybe for years" for some of his magical promises to be fulfilled. Doesn't surprise me that now that he is being educated by the "top dogs" as to the reality of the State of the State, he is realizing how foolish his daydreams were. The only thing is he has 55% of the population waiting for him to change their lives!!!!
