I can't decide what I should and should plan for the weekend.  One minute we are getting a mix of snow and rain and they are saying it is going to be cold.  The next mintue they are saying rain and in the 50's.  People at work who listen to different stations are wondering who to believe and where are the weather men are getting their information from.

Does anyone have an opion on what they think will happen???

I've decided none of them have a clue. Guess I have a better chance figuring it out by waiting until the weekend and looking out the window.

It will be dark at night, with widely scattered light towards morning.

Let’s go back to well endowed weather girls/women. They weren’t any less accurate and they were much better to look at.

hahaha jordan, remember cheryl jones? she went on to the weather channel. i always wanted to be a meteorologist myself, but gave it up due to the strong background for whatever reason in math. and i am not well endowed anymore as i have lost alot of weight-most of which went in my boobs.

I can almost plan on bad weather....how you ask?....Every time I make plans that the weather can mess up. It does! I have plans on Saturday evening. Had to buy a hard sided travel trailer to get it to stop raining out Labor Day Weekend.
So plan on yucky weather....sorry

Here is your unofficial forecast for this weekend according to both the NAM and the GFS. Late Friday night into early Saturday Morning, around 4 to 5 am, we’ll see some very cold rain, maybe some freezing rain but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Then look for the temperatures to start going up, and up and up until late into Saturday night when it will peak between 55 and 60 degrees. Then the bottom will fall out, and the temperatures will drop but not until all hopes of moisture is gone. We may see some flakes fly early Sunday Morning but that is jut due to the cold air squeezing the moisture out. In short this will be a rain event. Then for the next 13 to 16 days look for a dry pattern to set up with one maybe two shots of cold temperatures, not artic where it’s in the single digits but highs in the twenty’s and thirty’s and in the teens at night. Don’t really see any significant moisture until the 27th or around there. Of course that is just my take and I could be wrong. Well see, I am still looking for a huge snow storm somewhere between the 5th and 13th of January.

Okay does anyone else get annoyed that each meteorologist at Fox 4 has a different forecast? One minute Mike says its going to snow and sleet, the next don is saying its going to be in the fifties. Why dont they talk to eachother before putting up the forecast! It drives me nuts!

I think whatever is gonna happen, is gonna happen. I can't change it, so I don't pay much attention to it. I have a Christmas In The Park thing with Santa to go to Saturday evening and a baby shower on Sunday. I just hope I'm able to go to both.

I just realize that by living in KS, anything is possible! If I were to spend all my free time worrying/wondering, then I would be consumed, as it is everchanging. So, I tell people who are getting caught up in the weather, or who are always talking about it, if you are being negative about it...move, find someplace you can be happy! Otherwise, live here, and face up to the fact it is KS and everchanging! Have a fabulous Friday!

I use a weather rock, you know the kind, if it's wet, rain, if its dry, no rain, etc.
