Im glad you posted this.Ive argued many times on here as to the cause of the mortage crisis and I always seem to have trouble making the case about the ACTUAL CAUSE of the meltdown.People want to talk of greed, evil republicans,Mortage bundleing ETC....The point that needs to be made is that it is the philisophical difference of the 2 parties that is at the essence of the issue. No matter what happened AFTER democrats and ACORN pushed for ECONOMIC EQUALIZATION or REDISTRIBUTION this mindset is the CORE of the problem. This not only cast a negative shadow on this particular philosophy but to Obama and the democrats presidential election premise.Talk about "more of the same"!If we allow them to continue this mindset into other areas of our government WE WILL BE SOCIALIST IN SHORT ORDER!As the economic crisis PROVES,You cant and SHOULD NOT,use the government as an instrument for social justice! There will ALWAYS be catastrophic consequences!Americans that meet our standard of "poverty",live like kings comparred to actual poverty in other countries. They enjoy, freedom!,color televisions, automobiles, education,FOOD,medical care, police and fire departments to protect them and a quality of life that many people only dream of.
We are a benevolent country,WE DO take care of our own and MANY OTHERS!The notion that America is fundementally broken, that we are a nation that ONLY takes care of the wealthy IS A BLATANT LIE!Obama and his America hating party(hijacked by the rejects of the sixties)have done a good job of calling our nations values into question-They are misguided to say the leas

done a good job of calling our nations values into question-They are misguided to say the least.Im all for making America better tomorrow that she is today, but to demean her only to propagate a radical sixties social agenda make me sick to my stomach! We are not a weak people that needs the government to hold our hand-we are Proud and Free Americans!

Sorry bulldog,I got on a bit of a rant there!

I wish everyone had your enthusiasm. On a side note, I was eating at a chinese restaraunt at 23rd and 291 last night. A lady was talking with her husband and friends. She and they all were talking about casting their absentee ballots for Obama. A few minutes later, she quoted, "I have stole, lied, cheated, and slutted around, I am not perfect." I found this ironic, a person of this caliber, voting for Obama.

I am a bulldog owner/breeder in Missouri. I believe the country has been taken over by politicians that do not care for the general public. That Change is definately needed but by people with common sense instead of our choices that we have to vote for.
