Music is way of expression, a way to reach people about a message. It can be about a thing the artist feels is wrong with the world or a way to express their inner being, overall music is poetry.
Nowadays, rap music (undercover called Hip-Hop) is dying. According to many artists like NAS, Cube, C-Murder, Shyne, Jim Jones and Yung Berg, it needs surgery, bleeding, help it. Amazing, it is one to ponder if this is true, why the styles with our pants is hanging below our waist and gold frontz. (Frontz, instead of getting gold teeth go brush yours and maybe the white will shine.) The music has no legitimate meaning anymore. At first, raps had life experiences with an overall message, like Biggie and Tupac, even though it was West vs. East, you could feel the pain. Nowadays raps talk about, pimps and whores, whose side is better, Bloods v Crips, drugs and drug dealing, how I left my BM (Baby Momma), sex, BLEEP people all around and not catching a disease, and c’mon we all know what SUPERMAN means. But that’s real; we love how they put this wit a tight beat and how it’s by our favorite artists.50 Cent, Kanye West, DJ Khaled, and Emeniem, what are these rappers messages? 50 , I got shot 9 times and still not dead, I f----- my BM and isn’t catch nothing, Kanye the underachiever , Khaled, MIAMI SO HOOD!!! These messages being brought to our culture. What message am I getting, I should go have sex wit somebody to be cool, join a gang to fit in , I need to get shot , sell drugs, BLEEP school I am going to be a rapper or basketball player, but all this will end up turning your son/ daughter into somebody’s BLEEP in a jail cell. Parents always asking, what happened to the world? HIP- HOP is the answer. Something to think about.
OK people , if you remember NAS stating that HIP HOP is over, actually I think it is.
The songs don't have a meaning anymore , all they say is BLEEP me , gangbang, sell drugs and underachieve in school. THAT is why the world has so many issues these days.
