Gay Immigrant Beaten to Death

Looks like Christian Conservatives are on the attack (again) as hate crimes against gays and Latinos are steadily rising. In NY, a group of Christian Conservatives have taken a bat to a LEGAL immigrant (it's hard to tell them apart) and have beaten him to death while shouting anti-gay slurs. It's a real shame that Christians have fostered such disgust and hate towards a group of people who choose thier own path in life rather than allow Christians to tell them how to live (perhaps he shoudl have married one of their daughters and then broke her heart when he wasn't interested in her...parts).

 

Fortunately, however, LIBERALS have had enough of the hatred spewed by the Christians and have taken to the street in protest asking for an end to all of the hate that Christians cling to (especially Ken). If only Christian zealots like the pope, the mormon leaders and Joel, the leader of the Protestant 'army' would speak out against this type of violence and speak out in favor of harsh penalties for those who commit heinous crimes rather than side with the violent, these crimes may start to decline. Unfortunately, it does not appear that that is going to happen any time soon.

Well, miss judgemental know-it-all, how do you know it was Christian conservatives? You left out the part where these two who were attacked were leaving a church function, but that wouldn't have fit into your scenario.
You're slinging some of your favorite words, but you forgot your favorite one, "racist". Typing faster than you can think?

"New York City police are still hunting for suspects." So lets jump right to the assumption that they were Christian Conservatives.

AKS, you are so clueless. You speak of racists, hate, crimes, and Christians, and how they are so discriminatory. Take a look in the mirror, or better yet, read one of your blogs. Nothing you say makes any sense when you spin things to serve your agenda and then use words that are supposed to describe others, actually describe you.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg called the beating "a pointless and gutless crime."

He further reiterated that "dangerous acts of bigotry undermine our fight to live in peace and security."

It is not known at this time about the attackers having any religious affiliations but those attackers did shout anti-Hispanic and anti-gay slurs at both brothers.

Hopefully, the Matthew Shepard Act will be passed with Obama's support which will include sexual orientation under the Federal Hate Crimes Act.

Your are absolutely correct, aksjfd, that hate crimes against gay people have increased with the latest national statistics released.

These are not Christian minded people, they are hypocrites!!! Violence isn't what solves anything, peace to all, even to those who don't know what peace is truly about. Love your neighbors as you love yorself, no matter who they are, we are not to judge anyone. I learned that through my readings in the Bible. And we just need to all love one another.

I would not be so quick to lay the blame for such acts at the feet of Christians. Real Christians would much rather stand aside and let someone take themselves to hell than take a bat and beat them (for any reason). They just don't tend to want you to take them to hell with them. As for the liberals taking to the streets, it is the fact that such people insist upon forcing their lifestyles down the throats of everyone in existance (and how dare we complain about the taste!) that leads to such aggression to begin with. If they would go back to quietly doing as they want to do without bothering everyone else (go back into the closet, as it were) then the occurance of such violent acts would greatly decrease in frequency. Now, as for the beating of immigrants, as an American, I cannot say that I see a problem with that. We need to make it legal to actively hunt illegals, and issue standard (orange or something) vests for legal immigrants to wear to keep from getting shot (at least until this epidemic of hostile insurgency has been properly dealt with).

Ok let me address this in a neutral fashon.

1st of all, thank you for bringing this up, its good to debate these hate crimes, but you adressed this in a very poor and selfish manor. this is totally uncalled for. There is no evidence yet to say that this was a "Christian Conservative". if evidence does come out, please cite it with credible sources. It is true that there are groups of cristians that do this. but less then 1% of all of them jeesh. There are muslims that fly planes into buildings. Once again, less then 1% of them. Of course these crimes are horrible but it is wrong to acuse all christians as you implied. 2nd, the reason these people such as christian leaders/mormons/protastants dont speak out against these crimes is because their religions actualy consider "gay" to be a sin. But we are not debating religion we are debate hate crimes.. so go post your opinions about religion on my blog yay! :) anyways you mentioned that these leaders actualy support this? i would really like to see some sources for that please. if they publicly supported these crimes it would be illegal i think. True if they spoke out against these crimes we would probably see a decline. 85% of the US is "cristian"(this includes all forms of christianity such as Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, Pentecostals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Latter-day Saints and others) so the leaders of these religions would have a huge impact. BTW Mayflower I really like your opinion on this. I like that there is one person who has these values. Love your neighbors as you love yorself _< hes stupid read his post haha. People like this drakon guy are just horrible people. he blames AKS for acusing christians, then he goes and acuses liberals! what a hypocrit. BTW these people that are gay were not bothering anyone untill people like you started bothering them. So self centered. Drakonic and AKS - complete opposites in beleifs but the exact same person on the inside. He says that immigrants should be hunted?!?! Jeesh man that is so racist i mean cmon! Our great country has been trying to overcome rascism for hundreds of years! and you say we should shoot immigrants. If anyone is going to hell, its you. You have so much hate.

Every person ( definately AKS and Drakon) needs to open their minds to new ideas, new thoughts and concepts. If everyone did this I feel the world would be a better place.

I don't know why I continue to be surprised and shocked by posts, but I am. There are extremists in every group; religious, liberal, conservative, etc. In my opinion, it is a dangerous activity to point fingers without any facts. This is the kind of action that causes extremists (of any sort) to take action.

And how dare anyone suggest that someone get "back in the closet." Should all women get out of the workplace and blacks to the back of the bus again?

AKS Man I just know you are better then this. but now Im starting to wonder, Independant very well stated, I have not heard about this story yet, but it sounds to me like Aks has jumped the gun in accusing.

you and Apostic seem to think if we are Christian then we must be perfect, and if any single Christian makes a mistake then all Christians are to blame, and are just as evil, shame on your self righteous judgement,

we all know for a fact according to Aks and Apostic, that no Atheist has ever done wrong. And all Christians are evil this is no more then another hate attack on Christians. Exactly what they accuse us of.

I think I failed to get across what I was meaning to point out. I do not hate anyone. I have a lot of love. I love this country. I blame the liberals for a lot of what is wrong, but I don't really hold it against them. They cannot help it. There is something to be envied about being so naive, but there is nothing to hate about it (although some of them are too aggressive in pushing their ideals). What I said about shooting immigrants was in no way meant to say anything about race. I just would like to see America protected from it's enemies (and Yes, even though a great many illegal immigrants are just trying to survive and mean no harm, illegal immigration is something that if not stopped WILL destroy this country). Maybe you're right though. Maybe I am going to Hell. If that is the price to be paid for loving your country and wanting the best for it, then so be it. If America falls, life will become a living Hell anyway.

DMG--I had provided a link to the story on CNN this morning stating the police were still looking for suspects, but the mental midget (aks) must have deleted it since it proved her as being quick to draw her own conclusions. Hardly surprising.

Don't forget there are some who call themshelves Christians. but are in fact hiding behind a fasod. they are doing it so that they wound get the blame for what they are doing. I know this because I used to live in N.Y. It's the same thing that was done in Boston Mass. in the 1770s. when some colonist dressed as Indians and dumped the tea in Boston Harbour.

Glad to see all of the responses. The point of this blog was to get an uproar. This blog is NO DIFFERENT than the one Ken wrote slamming liberals so I thought I'd stir the pot a bit.

Thanks you, America, for voting out the criminals and voting in the compassionate, socially and fiscally responsible Democrats. Keep up the good work and do the same in 2010. Be scared of the evangelicals; they are on the rise and are no different than Muslim extremists.
