Well, well, well, it turns out that Palin is just as un-intelligent as we thought. According to a Fox News Reporter (you know, the ones who are fair and balanced and therefore reports only the truth), Palin had no idea that Africa was a continent made up of many nations. Yikes. She actually thought that South Africa was part of the bigger country of Africa. While I must admit that this once confused me too, I had it all straightened out by the end of high school.

How many of you know which countries participate in NAFTA? Here is a hint: NAFTA stands for the North Amererican Free Trade Agreement. Still confused? Just name the North Amercian countries. Although Palin lives in one of the three countries and next door to another one, she has no idea which countries make up North America. Seriously? It would be surprising, except it seems that almost everyone drops out of school in AK making it safe to assume Civics Class in Wassilla may not be all that important to a bunch of people who will just go on welfare once they turn 18 (they get at least $1,500 per year even though they can't afford programs to combat domestic violence which they suffer from more than any other state in the USA).  Therefore, I guess there just wasn't any motivation to learn.

This brings up my entire point. The GOP saw country second, not first. McCain and his advisors chose Palin for three reasons and neither of them involved the good of the country. He chose her to 1. electrify the base, Christian Jihadists (there is a diff btwn Xian Jihadists and Christians), 2. to capture the women who supported Clinton b.c they are sexist and 3. b.c she is a MILF. Choosing a VP who needs to catch up on what she should have learned in high school and college (or while she was a stay at home mom for 20 years) is irresponsible. WIth so much to learn, how would she be able to sharpen skills in order to negotiate with world leaders and make chioces that affect countries she doesn't even realize is a country?

Funny that so many are chanting Palin 2012. Just goes to show that some don't think that intelligence is a necessity when dealing with world and domestic problems that can lead to the growth or destruction of the USA. Let's hope that those people are the minority once again in 2012. Here's to hope. Oh, and Yeah Pres. Obama!!!!!!

Also, Joe the Plumber was a Republican shill to get the white males on their side. It didn't work.

Now how can anyone take this post seriously?

aks writes - "it seems that almost everyone drops out of school in AK" - and then continues to riddle this post with pure hatred and childlike vindictiveness.

FACT!!!!! Alaska produces a higher percentage of graduates than Arizona in ALL ethnic groups.

aks writes - ". Oh, and Yeah Pres. Obama!!!!!!" - George W. Bush is our President, Obama is the President Elect. There will be plenty of time for Obama to be President and take the blame for every single bad event just as Bush did. If it happens on your watch, you are the blame. We learned that from you.

Finally, some reason comes from Tweety's beak. Does this mean you blame Bush for 9-11 and the financial collapse?

FACT---only 1 in 20 Alaskans complete college.
FACT---AK drop out rate is higher than 42 other states.
FACT---AK students are less likely to go to college at all than those from 46 other states.
FACT--Alaska college students come in dead last when it comes to graduating from college within 6 years.
http://www.adn.com/education/story/398390.html

FACT----Bristol's FH is a high school drop out.
FACT---Track Palin is a high school drop out.
FACT---Bristol missed the last 5 months of Junior year and is having a baby senior year. She pretty much dropped out.

You can research the AZ drop out rates, but I wouldn't consider being more educated than AZ a feat. Now, Wisconsin would be impressive.

Oh, and in the article (link I provided), you will find that this is a culture thing and something they admit themselves. They have a culture that doesn't value education. Read it for yourself.

You read an article and looked at one chart. Believe me when I tell you that was only a fraction of the pertinent information you need.

Stop twisting what you read and please stop trying to be coy. No, Bush is not responsible for 9/11 or the financial collapse. Only someone with zero interest in researching and learning the truth would say that. It distresses me that you claim to be educated yet have proven you can not research the history of Fannie and Freddie.

I find it interesting that you elected a man that played a role in the financial crisis. And I'm sure he's grateful that you choose to ignore that tidbit of information while laying blame on Bush. Let's watch and see if Obama compounds it or corrects it.

Come on Tweety....If something happens under your watch, it's on you. So...
1. Bush is most at fault. THis happened 7 years after he took office.
2. THe REpublicans had COMPLETE CONTROL of the govt. from 2001-2007 and did nothing to keep this from happening when we all knew it was on the way.
3. Bush said as late as MARCH OF THIS YEAR that deregulation was good.
4. McCain said in September that the fundamentals of the economy were good and that deregulation is good.
5. Fannie and Freddie grew this economy and the idea of how this was SUPPOSED to work is not incorrect.
6. As Greenspan said, greed was the cause of the collapse. Greed that was permitted thanks to a lack of regulation.
7. Trickle down economics according to the guy who invented it for Reagan caused this fiancial crisis.
8. Sure, the Dems are at fault for allowing it to happen, absolutely. But, they have only had a SLIM majority since the beginning of 2007 (not 2006) which means they were only a part of it for 16 months. Further, they couldn't pass regulation b.c it would have been vetoed since Bush said in March of 2008 that regulation was bad.

Sounds to me that all you do is repeat sound bites. Unfortunately, sound bites that come too quickly are usually just finger pointing. As time goes on, you will see how Bush created the perfect storm when he started a war while decreasing taxes for the rich and doing nothing for the middle class (Heck Lou Dobbs keeps saying there is a war against the middle class).

BTW---Obama graduated from college and then took jobs to defend the poor. One of his bigges

And Tweety---obviously you didn't bother to look at the link I gave you as there was no chart. It only included info about AK problem, possible causes and possible solutions. But, thanks for confirming that you repeat, you don't research.

I assumed you had looked at a chart per your previous post showing numbers that weren't in the link. So you read one article and pulled the numbers from who knows where. Cool.

I never was good at geography or spelling. Palin probably stinks at geography too. A lot of that seldom used information leaves your brain as you get older. Things like math and reading that you do all the time, stays fresh in your brain. I'm sure if you gave Obama, Biden, and Palin a college entrance exam, she would do similar to Biden and Obama. None of them are brainiacs.
I agree McCain should have picked someone else. But he picked someone he thought would bring in the most votes for him. He needed a woman. Obama was getting nailed on his inexperience in foreign affairs. So he picked Biden, someone that had some experience in that department. You pick who you think will get you elected, yet you can put up with. McCain wanted Leberman, but his aids said he was too liberal, so they all decided Palin was the best compromise.

Ken---I laugh at your assertion. Palin has did not hold a job for 17 years while she was a stay at home mom. Her kids aren't graduating from hs so she obviously wasn't helping them with their homework. So, I beg you to explain to me how she kept things like math and reading 'fresh'. Further, if you really think that someone who graduated from one of the 5 state universities/JC that she attended is as smart as someone who GETS ACCEPTED to Harvard let alone graduate from there with high honors, you are dilusional, incredibly jealous, in denial, or all of the above. Come on.

Political leaders don't have an option to be not good at something like geopgraphy. THey can be not good at home ec, shop, band class, dance, PE, heck, I'll even throw in grammar. But, they must be good at math, history, civics, law, speach, the writing portion of English class, geography, you know, the things that run the world.

Even the McCain camp is FINALLY admitting she wasn't qualified. McCain should have dropped her in Sept. for 'personal reasons' and then he should have picked Lieberman like he wanted. He may just be Pres right now.

Oh...and why are you saying that he needed a woman? Choosing an unqualified woman as VP is the most sexist thing your party could have done. It's comical really. And why I just don't get woman who are Catholic and Republican. THose 2 groups couldn't have a lower view of women if they tried.

Tweety---still you have yet to click on the link and just take a quick glance. Looks like all you do is assume and parrot whatever talking points your 'leader' gives you.

The article was from the Anchorage Daily News and is dated March of 2008. But, you don't even like to read facts. You would rather 'go with your gut'.

And how about you find just one article backing up your assertion that a bunch of scholars live in AK? And then explain why Republicans chose the matriarch of the one family plagued with drop outs to run for 2nd in command of one of the big 2 parties.

I'll be waiting.

You are ridiculous!!!!!! I never stated 'a bunch of scholars live in AK'. You take almost everything you read and I could swear you put your own damn meaning to it just to be difficult. Next time you read something try keeping it in context. You embellish and exaggerate almost everything and I don't know if I should be laughing at you or feeling sorry for you.

Alright Tweety, I will play semantics with you. You are right, I shouldn't have spoken in superlatives as theose are never true and serve only to make a point. So, let me use your language.

How about you prove your assertion that
1. Alaksa has a lower drop out rate than AZ.
2. More people in AK graduate from high school and college than those in AZ.
3. Why you think that being more educated than AZ is a feat.

Then, why don't you explain why nothing that happened under the watch of a Republican Executive and Legislative branches were not their responsibility.
Then, explain how it would have been possible for the Democrats to override a veto by the Pres. over the last 1.75 years.

You don't have to beg. Doing day to day things like cooking (reminders of how many fluid oz in a quart, teaspoons in a cup, etc); Doing your budget, figuring gas mileage, figuring how many illegals it takes to ruin the country (math); reading newspapers, blogging, etc.
Minorities get accepted to schools MUCH easier than Whites. If Obama would release his college records, we could find out how he did in school instead of taking YOUR word for it.
Maybe the reason he never released his birth certificate is because he may not be able to read it. ;-)

Give it a freaking rest. You wrote a blog with FALSE information and all I told you was the percentage of AK children that drop out was less than AZ, using AZ because this is where we live. You've taken it to an extreme. For what? We all get it. You hate anything that doesn't line up with your perception of how and what it should be. So if your hatred of Palin runs so horrifyingly deep that you feel the need to condemn an entire state to feel better, go for it. I would have thought the way you sympathize with illegals and their lack of education you would be horrified that any citizen in the US doesn't receive a decent education. But no, not you. Rather than agree something needs to be done here at home in our country you instead relish hurling your holier than thou mentality at the problem. On empathy and compassion you flunk!!!!!

Tweety----on assumptions alone you think that. You have yet to back up one thing that you said, yet I backed up everything I did. Palin is a liar and she is not smart. I have no problem with people not being smart. She probably has talents that I don't. However, much like I am unqualified to be the Gov. of Oregon, let alone Arizona and Pres. of US, she doesn't either. And pretending that she ever did is 'country last' not country first.

And I do think it's sad that kids don't recieve a good ed. HOwever, I also see a lot of parents who ALLOW their students to do poorly. For example:

I tutored a rich kid whose dad paid $250,000 in taxes last year. They paid me $1500/mo to get their daughter from Ds to mid Cs. IMO, that isn't much of a feat, but her parents would not insist that she do work on her own. I gave her all the tools she needed to study, she just didn't have to. Then, I called her out on it, b.c I don't like tutoring kids with parents who don't care. She got upset and refused to work with me the next session. So, her parents let her win and I haven't tutored since. At the end of the first quarter, she had a 76% in 3 classes and a 92% in math. Now, just half way through the 2nd quarter, she has Ds in 3 classes and a B in math. Her parents are going to let her fail an entire semester (again, before I worked with her) rather than risk her 'running away' if they take her cell phone, etc.

Since Palin was a stay at home mom with a drop out son and a preggo daughter who will probable drop out hooking up with a guy who has already dropped out...well...She had no bu

Back up one thing I said? A higher percentage of students drop out in AZ than AK. It was you that went crazy and said almost everybody drops out and proof of that statement being a lie can easily be found on several sites that chart dropout rates.

Fannie and Freddie - blog after blog has been written. There have been credible links to show the proof. It has been your choice to ignore the truth and the evidence and remain oblivious to the history. You keep saying it was on the Bush watch therefore he takes the blame. Unbelievable after your blog on "How Government Works". You completely ignore how Pelosi and her cronies stopped the regulation that Bush wanted, even though my opinion is that Bush waited too long to call attention to the problem. You absolutely refuse to see any part that Obama himself played in this whole fiasco.

What you need to do is stop reading more into what I type and running like the devil with it.

Thanks you, America, for voting out the criminals and voting in the compassionate, socially and fiscally responsible Democrats. Keep up the good work and do the same in 2010. Be scared of the evangelicals; they are on the rise and are no different than Muslim extremists.
