End result: Travis, a “pet” chimp mutilated the face and
hands of his owner’s friend. News
reports are saying a variety reasons but the final one that I have heard is,
“The chimp did not recognize this person so it attacked her”.
Reality: You do NOT have a pet monkey/chimp in your
home – at all. Why? These near genetically profiled humans are
NOT human! They have strength sometimes
compared to 5-7 times that of an average adult male (human). These animals (aka: Hominidae family) belong
in circuses and zoos not homes.
Sympathy: I feel very sorry for the victim in this
situation because of the life altering changes that have happened and what the
future will bring. My assumption is the
chimp’s owner feels very bad for her friend and probably guilty to some extent.
Let me hear from my fellow bloggers on this issue. Do you feel this owner is somewhat a whack-job
for housing a beast, allegedly serving it Xanax-laced tea the day of the
attack, or letting it sleep in the same bed with her.

Travis, the chimp.

I have heard it from all sides. If you buy foreign then it’s your fault that
all these Americans are being laid off.
If you buy American then you are supporting the country and there are still layoffs. Ok, what is it going
to be?
I want to hear from you guys on this issue. I’ve been very immature in my vehicle
purchases until I woke up and realized ALL of them are a waste of money. You just have to minimize your wasteful
spending to feel somewhat competent.
I’ve had a few American made autos and most were boring, costly on
expense, and low trade in value. After I
started buying Honda – wow – the spunk never ended until I dumped my Honda for
a Nissan.
So, what do you drive and why?

Hello fellow bloggers from all areas! My reviews are of recent events in the St. Louis Missouri
venue. Last month it was “Larry the
Cable Guy” and Tony LaRussa’s ARF Concert "Stars to the Rescue" – both excellent events. This past Saturday afternoon we went to St. Charles Missouri
to the Family Arena to see the Cirque.
Yes, many of us called it Circus “duh” So Lay but it is
really Cirque du Soleil. This was the fifth
time we’ve seen this group and the performance was called Saltimbanco. They wore clown-like makeup and did a variety
of maneuvers not yet seen by our family.
Not only are these individuals in tip-top shape but they make you cringe
each time you see a feat completed only in your dreams. LOL – I sincerely mean that. Their band was excellent too.
The eight of us concluded that Delirium was still the best
show with a lot more performers. But,
with the nosebleed seats being around $32 and we moved down to the $69 seats
since no one bought those – we had a great view. The seats on the floor were overpriced at $90
but I guess they need to pay these “near 0” body fat individuals
something. Great show and if you were
there please let me hear from you. If
not, I wanna hear from you anyway.

Yesterday morning at 1:40am an alleged drunk driver
traveling the wrong way on I-255 (IL) plows head-on into a family of 4. A man, woman, and 9 year old boy were killed
in the crash while the 11 year old daughter is still in critical
condition. Why do I repeat such horrific
news because I hate drunk drivers. The
driver is being charged on 14 different counts.
If you drink and drive, and are reading this blog go seek
help now before you become a killer like this 46 year old drunk. He supposedly was traveling the wrong way for
up to 8 minutes which tells me he must have a somewhat cognizant of what he was
doing. It is amazing how ignorant society
is when it comes to alcohol and getting behind the wheel. I have attached the video from our OLD
blogging site’s news station in hopes that we each can be thankful we were home
that night.
Here’s the sad thing, this family was together at this time
in this area because of the death of a grandmother. So, they were here for a funeral! (see video below).

The Bush stimulus plan didn’t
do anything for our family. We took the
$1,800 check and just deposited for our doubled Ameren bills happening
now. So, in reality, the economy from
our home was still just the same. And,
what do these large corporations really do with any type of bailout funds? Answer:
They go to exotic places and throw huge parties plus give their
executives large bonuses.
Now, what about the Obama
stimulus plan? Some want a 4% mortgage
rate on a 30 year Fixed Rate Mortgage (FRM) – will this really help? Personally, I don’t think it will. The reason why people are not buying homes is
because they have to sell their current one or they are very timid because of
their unstable jobs. Come on folks, the
30 yr FRM in our area (STL) was around 5% for weeks. Real estate contracts to purchase didn’t
increase dramatically. So, how about
stimulating the economy by passing the buck to the taxpayer and not in the form
of $1,800, add another zero too it and you’ll see people go crazy. That’s why some are in trouble because they
did go crazy thanks to lenders.
Finally; what do you think of
Obama’s new plan to put a cap on executive salaries/bonuses? I really like it since the main reason why
certain corporations are in trouble is because they dish out millions of
dollars to the “SUITS” (those dudes doing absolutely nothing to generate
revenues). So, let’s make the top pay of
any company no more than that of the POTUS – this will stimulate the job market
dramatically. Those making too much
money will retire and then certain folks will be promoted to the $399K per year
spot and the bottom levels will be JOB OPENINGS!

You’ve seen various clips on Jessica Simpson and her alleged weight gain. Is this really news? Most of you read my New Years Resolution and
I am proud to say I am still on track to complete my goals. (Will list if need be). So, does this somewhat dingy blonde beauty
deserve the right for her physique to change a bit, yes. The only thing I have against this 28 year
old hottie is that she still hasn’t returned my PHONE CALLS!
Britney Spears has been in the news since the Mickey Mouse
Club. She was hot, HOT years ago then
married a loser, had 2 too many kids (she’s immature that's why), and she
drives about as bad as Lindsay Lohan.
Now, Britney at age 27, is making a comeback both with her music/dancing
and her body. There are various clips of
her with her “new” abs. I got breaking news
for you – those abs have always been hers and the new look comes from hard work
and great doctors.
Michael Phelps – what a story. This 23 year old swam better than anyone in
Bejing - even against the 14year old
Chinese boys – he still won! Most
recently, he’s been photographed puffing on a bong! Is this really news? I would say it’s safe to assume he did not
compete the following day (or week) because a blood test would have found “Mary
Jane” in his system. Weren’t some of us
like him at his young age? I WAS, except
the only difference was I sank in the water and didn’t have 14 gold medals!
Lastly; I know you think I am crazy for submitting such a
blog but for those of you who know me from St. Louis – this is my style (or lack
thereof). Miley Cyrus, only 16 years of
age and a huge star mainly among younger fans, obviously needs some parental
guidance. She has been photographed in
some close to “naked” photos and other questionable behavior. What in the heck do you expect from a 16 year
old? LOL – come on – when I was 16 I was
concerned about popping my PIMPLES, cruising in my parents 4 door Plymouth Fury,
and whose lawn I had to cut the following day to pay for gas! Ms Cyrus was seen with friends (per news
media) pulling back her eyelids – pulling a pun against Asians. Is this news?
Should it be allowed – I say, hey, we are in America and have our choices to
make and we usually learn by that one word we hate to hear – MISTAKES.

(CNN) -- Super Bowl fans in Tucson, Arizona, caught a different kind of show during Sunday's big game.
Just as Cardinals' superstar Larry Fitzgerald watched himself sprint
into the end zone on the stadium's Jumbotron during Sunday's Super
Bowl, 10 seconds of eye-popping pornographic imagery "flashed" across
the screens of those watching at home.
"We are mortified by last
evening's Super Bowl interruption, and deeply apologize to our
customers for the inappropriate programming," Comcast Cable said in a
written statement.
"Our initial investigation suggests this was an isolated malicious act," the statement added.
Comcast, and several local television stations that carried the signal,
say they are currently investigating what caused the interruption.
"It appears this material was only viewed by some Comcast customers,"
local Tucson television station KVOA-TV said in a written statement.
Television station KVOA added "when the NBC feed of the Super Bowl was
transmitted from KVOA to local cable providers and through over-the-air
antennas, there was no pornographic material," KVOA President and
General Manager Gary Nielsen said in a separate statement.
I say - GREAT! It broke the nail biting going on at my home and plus I'd already switched to watching COPS so I'll have to check out the TiVo. Ooops, I am not with Comcast in Tuscon, Arizona though - guess we'll have to go to myfoxphoenix.com for a clip? What do you guys think?

Since our St. Louis Rams STINK royally and were 2-14 this past season, I have no favorites in the Super Bowl. I do however appreciate good officiating
in such a major game. Do any of you feel that Arizona is getting the
short end of the political stick for calls? Yes, Arizona had 2 calls
reversed after review but IF you get the call correct
the first time then a review isn't needed to reverse. There have been
many personal foul calls against the Cardinals and none against the
Steelers - go figure.
It does look like Pittsburgh will win this game since they are the ones moving the ball, making the plays, and more comfortable on the field. I would really like to see some better calls by the officials. Just remember this Super Bowl and the officiating in about 10 - 15 years when these referees retire - there could one of those investigations of someone getting some cash in their pockets (similar to the basketball ref).
I am actually getting bored with the game and will watch a more exciting show - COPS. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Here is the story...
Illinois man kills brother over $2 debt
CHICAGO --
A 33-year-old Chicago man is being held without bond in connection with
the stabbing death of his brother over a $2 debt.
Phillip Binder
allegedly stabbed to death his brother, 35-year-old Charles Binder, in
front of other family members in their South Side home.
Phillip
Binder first approached his brother Charles outside their home.
Assistant Cook County State's Attorney Mike O'Malley said once the two
were inside, Phillip Binder took a large knife from the kitchen and
plunged it once into his brother's chest.
After the stabbing, Phillip Binder allegedly told his aunt she was lucky she didn't die too.
According to the arrest report, the altercation began over a crack cocaine debt.
Here are my thoughts...What is society coming to – assault and battery because you
looked at a person the “wrong way"?
Taking the life of someone because they owed you money? Come on folks, if this were the case 75%-85% of
Americans would be killed by Lending institutions! Yes, debt being home or equity loan, car
loan, even credit card debt.
After hearing what this 33 year old Chicago man did to his
brother – society is nuts! According to
the arrest report, “the altercation began over a crack cocaine debt”! So, what challenges in life are we really
facing? Do we blame drugs and their
effects on the individuals that use them or is it the loan industry being so
sleazy in their distribution of loose funds?
Obviously there has to be some sibling rivalry if not hate because we
waste $2 a week on nothing.
The end result in this story is one brother has been
sentenced – to life! The perp in this
case will have his day (weeks) in court and will hopefully get life in prison
or maybe even the “death sentence” handed down to him by a jury – not another
sibling. I want to hear from you, the
smartest people on earth, my fellow bloggers!
And yes for those of you who do not know me or my blogging personality –
I do like exclamation marks!

Wow - this is the last of the "good" blogsites that Fox has and it'll soon be over too. My fellow St. Louis bloggers have been somewhat kicked out of St. Louis since they can't seem to get any blogs working. Boston is getting old already just as the Red Sox are too. The Kansas City site is a bit better than Fox2 in St. Louis but you guys in Tampa - ROCK (for now).
So, St. Louis MO and Metro IL bloggers, come on down and say hello. Even though we just got about 9 inches of snow yesterday; this site is HOT! A big thanks to Tampa Bay area for keeping this site up and running for now. Hope to see my fellow bloggers soon.
No Speedy disclosures anymore I welcome all trolls!

It’s been announced that Home Depot (HD) will be cutting
about 2% of it’s workforce which is roughly 7,000 jobs. With a total workforce of nearly 350,000
employees nationwide, they are a large employer and might not be offering any
type of severance package.
Unlike other corporations and their excuses for cutting
jobs, HD’s Expo business was down even during the housing boom. Cutting jobs in order to offset lower net
profits will temporarily put a fix on fiscal year statements. "HD's news really reflects what is going
on at corporations. Companies have to cut expenses and focus on where they
think consumer spending is going to be," said Bill Schultz, CEO with
McQueen, Ball & Associates, Inc.
I first will always blame the suits for getting paid too
much. HD’s prior CEO (Bob Nardelli) made
a skimpy $25.7 million per year on average.
He left the company and his total compensation package was around $210
million. Maybe now the financial problem
for HD is more evident. The new CEO
(Frank Blake) only brings in a cool $975,000 per year but his annual total
compensation package is about $8.9 million.
These numbers are not as massive as the AT&T pay levels
were but the FAT does need to be cut at the top. Please see my blog on AT&T back around
December of 2008. HD has recorded Net Earning
in years 2006 through 2008 of (in millions) $5.8, $5.7, and $4.3
respectively. They claim to be cutting
10% of their “officer ranks” positions – I am just wondering if this will save
the “small guy”?
Any thoughts on what corporate America should do?

It has been an embarrassing few months in Illinois with Governor Rod Blagojevich’s
personality oozing of narcissism. This
guy thinks he’s done nothing wrong. And,
if by chance he did NOT try to sell the Senate seat then why all the hoopla on
national TV talk shows? The one that I
have not heard he’s scheduled on but should be is The Jerry Springer Show. LOL – ok, I don’t even know if that crazy
show is still on the air.
This dude (Governor Rod) wasted hundreds of thousands ($)
flying to and from Springfield IL
to his home in Chicago
land. When Elliott Davis interviewed him
on this wasteful spending, Blagojevich stated that he may not be flying
enough. LOL – right at an estimated
$5,800 per day I believe just 1 trip is enough at those Beverly Hill’s prices. There is something that most of us in all
states like to use that costs a lot less – it’s called an AUTOMOBILE!
So, talk shows, game shows, radio stations; Gov Rod will be
preaching his innocence on the airwaves and just like OJ – even though the
glove didn’t fit – by golly the evidence is quite clear! Give it up Governor Rod Blagojevich before
you lose that $205,000 annual pension check if impeached!

It’s that time of year to start taking care of others. With the continual increase of greed from
power companies, many seniors (and others) have troubles paying their
bills. Being on a fixed income, when
their gas/electric bills increase because of corporate greed and Mother Nature,
they sometimes turn off the furnace or lower it to a deadly temperature. Sometimes it does pay to give a darn.
Take time today and this week to call your friends and
neighbors that are senior citizens and confirm that they are fine. I’ve made my calls over the weekend since the
temps and snow will be coming to my area (Southern IL). It is much better to be safe than SORRY –
because sorry brings guilt and could have been omitted if laziness didn’t
exist.
JUST DO IT! Go help
those that might need help. Whether it
be a few blankets, a battery in the smoke detector, or just a simple hello –
your concern is well worth it! Thank you
for reading my blog and comment like you’re our crazy Governor (Rod
Blagojevich).
