LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- Ted White wants to know what it takes to fire a police officer. White was falsely accused of child molestation and spent five years in prison. Ten years ago, Lee's Summit police Officer Richard McKinley was the lead detective in the case that focused on White. However, a jury didn't know that McKinley was having an affair with White's wife. McKinley also ignored evidence that could have cleared White.
