I agree with you completley! White punks dress like that too...so I don't want to hear the race card. They (P&L), as you stated, are just trying to portray a nicer image than Westport...and looked what happened there...a murder almost daily...

I had a friend wear a jersey to the Levee (not at P&L District) and they made him wear his coat the entire time...a Chiefs jersey...so it's not just P&L and frankly I am glad to see it, nothing irritates me more than seeing punks holding their pants up when they walk so they don't fall down...I get so ticked off when I see that. I am done ranting now, glad someone else feels the same way I do!

Then all my friends with the facial piercings and black clothes should have no problem. Nothing on the board that says those things are bad. It does seem to be geared toward a certain stereotype.

Nicer image??? The girls walked around wearing less clothes than whores and most of the older guys chasing them looked like smarmy care salesmen. The younger males behaved no better than drunken college frat boys. And ladies...if you are of a "certain " age or really a certain "weight" then choose your outfits wisely. When you are 40+, the law of averages says than your but will not sit as high nor will your boobs...stop wearing the clothes that are meant for those body types. I saw more old lady @ss than I ever wanted to see. Shirts were untucked and @sses were showing...didn't see anyone stoppping them. I was not impressed. I did however notice a lack of African American people or whatever is the proper term....sorry, I am white....the ones I did see...well...those guys weren't chasing girls...and the ladies still had their behinds flashing the world...all 2 of them that I saw.

Target every undesireable...not just the ones who are black or act like it. It's not a racist dress code....it's a sexist racist dress code.

I say it's time for everyone (yes I said EVERYONE) to get a grip. At what point did this whole attitude get started? I can't remember any of this juvenile crap going on back in the 80's. Just one more reason why my family and I do family things at home, and/or in a more unique and adventurous way.

At the end of last week I was downtown on business with my boss, and we were stopped at an intersection and there was a black guy crossing in front of us on the crosswalk. In one hand was his pants that he was holding up so he could walk.. guess what was in his other hand?... A cane.. so he could walk. It was the stupidest thing I had seen in awhile. LOL
