(Laurie, MO) -- A man tracking a deer was killed this weekend in Camden County at Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Water Patrol says Robert Parker of Sedalia went missing Saturday while deer hunting.  Parker had shot a deer and was trying to track it when he fell from a bluff.

Mid-county divers recovered Parker's body around 2:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Laurie, Missouri in about four feet of water.

A pack of deer all got together and pushed him.

The deer are still way behind in the body counts by thousands.

And besides, how do you know that I was referring to them as human food?

Bobcats, coyotes and mountain lions have to eat too. There are enough to share.

Deer are food. Sick and tired of tree huggers constantly trashing hunters. They are actually doing the mother nature a favor. The deer have been overpopulated for a long long time now. Which leads to starvation in the winter when food is not so plentiful, or disease from not having enough of the right food to eat. .... Both are horrible long painful deaths... they are meat!
For a 15.00 license, you can have 200lbs of meat... been to the grocery store lately?

All I hear is how people cant afford this and people cant afford that. Then I hear about overpopulations of deer. There are walnuts and pecans laying all over peoples yards and deemed a "nuisance" and scooped up and put in the trash. There are whole sections of your property that you just keep mowing the grass every year... well.... plant a garden.

OR.. you can just keep beotching and take whatever hormone induced c r a p that they sell down at the local market.

No kidding searching. There is no painless death in nature.

Almost all animals die a violent death, taking their place on the food chain.

Evidently the deer has stocked up on high tech electonics, and other advantages at Cabellas and used them to level the playing field.

Blah Blah Blah....I don't support hunting, I don't eat anything that is fresh kill, however, I don't badmouth those who do. But I'm sick to death of hearing all the whiners and those who need tissues for their issues. I think it's time for people to grow up! Sheesh! How old are we? And society wonders why the youth of today act the way they do. Take a look around you. Lead by example.

Nervous will, they'll need more than that to climb their way to the top of the food chain.

A few million years of evolution might do it, but I doubt it. They've got a long way to go.

Until then they're just gonna have to run for it.
