Just recently the Full list of Donors for both the Democrat and Republican conventions have been released. Guees what it says?

These reports show that the same companies that made big donations or contributions to the conventions are the same ones that are asking for and receiveing bailouts. If you think that it's just a coincidence then I have packages of dehydrated water you might be interested in.......

Here are the articles:

So why are the Repubs against Bailing out the Car Companies even though they made big donations to their convention? One Word......Unions.

The Unions gave all of their Money to the Democratic Convention. They were able to do this because of a little distinction between giving money to a Political Party and the Commity holding the Parties Convention.....

Gee....I guess that alot like what is....is?lol

AIG, Ford, GM, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs...the list goes on and on......

All gave big money to the Conventions..and All are getting their Returns on their investments....

I wonder why people are still so suprised when they hear news like this or find out that a Politican is dishonest or doesn't keep their word.......

I mean really......

When you look in the Sewer what are you expecting to see.......Roses?

It is one thing to bark loud till you get attention.
It is another to get paid for it.

The reward for barking loud and being stupid seem to go hand and hand in our political system.

Maybe more of us should pay attention for whom we vote ,and, what change we want.

I know I'll be a minority on this because it certainly isn't fashionable to defend money in politics. First thing I want say is we need more money not less going to political parties.
When I give money to a political party I expect something for it. I expect a the party to support something I want the government to do or not do. The founders of the USA saw that ownership of government by many individuals was far better than ownership of government by a king or the church. In other words they saw money and property as power.
A majority of those who own money and property should decide who runs the Government. This is the fundamental principal upon which the Constitution was based.

"But war, in a good cause, is not the greatest evil which a nation can suffer. War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse. When a people are used as mere human instruments for firing cannon or thrusting bayonets, in the service and for the selfish purposes of a master, such war degrades a people. A war to protect other human beings against tyrannical injustice – a war to give victory to their own ideas of right and good, and which is their own war, carried on for an honest purpose by their free choice – is often the means of their regeneration. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other." - John Stuart Mill
