You're calling them white trash because the girl got pregnant at 17 and had a baby out of wedlock? Good Lord, get a grip! This has been going on for ages and ages, no matter how well the kids were raised! Was it the best move on their part? Of course not! But it does not make them white trash. For the most part, the Palin's are good, moral, hard working people, more like most of us than any other political family that I know of. If someone looked into your family's history, is a 17 year old getting pregnant out of wedlock the only skeleton they would find in your closet?

Trace, Tran, Lakisha and Brooklyn are names too. Willow and Piper certainly are not new or unusual names. This family deserves some privacy.

I think this is really funny. you guys want to defend this person because her mom is a republican. because you know from all the comments on other blogs i have a feeling that if Obama's daughter was old enough and in this situation she would be a liberal whore that sleeps around and democrats don't care about what their kids do and democrats don't have any morals and this is the perfect example of why democrats love welfare FUNNY!

also the name is a joke! why do people do these things to their kids? children are already mean enough. i can just see kids tripping him all over the playground and calling out his name. when i named my kids i tried to think of as many ways to make fun of them as i could so they wouldn't have to go through that. so they may be common but they are family names that mean something not trip, vacation, mercedes, or any of that crap! these kids are one day adults and who wants to be called tripp when they are 35 years old?
