The idea crossed the mind of Mark Alford when Nick Vassos was giving out the location of cops running radar.  Don't give those wreckless drivers a clue to where the cops are running radar.  They are the same ones that crash into the back of you when you have to slow down and they are driving to fast and to close.

Don't feel sorry for them when you see them all crashed out on your way to work in the morning.  lol have a great day!

The last thing reckless drivers see is the cop shooting radar.

There's far too many speeders to think you're going to short change the cops.

Each city, along with Wild Wayne, posts where the traffic enforcement will be.

They should set up when people cross the bridge from the Kansas side. They would make enough to get out of debt.

They should go to Parallel Pkwy...It's 40 MPH and you're really tempted to go faster...I got a speeding ticket on April Fools Day cause I was going 52 in a 40.

Bebo,

I sit along 670 from Genessee to downtown eastbound and get them all day. Downtown loop is out of control. It's 45mph and you see nothing less then 60mph all day.

I agree jiggy, enough people get hurt in wrecks because some moron has to be first, and then when the law has someone pulled over more idiots cause wrecks by watching the cops instead of the road.

What is the goal of speed traps? Is it to get people to slow down or to set up a profit center? Should our police be in the business of encouraging safety or should they be predatorial?

If the word goes out and people know that there is a speed trap, they'll slow down. But then of course you miss out on the profit.

I wish they'd say there was a speed trap on my street EVERY SINGLE DAY. I don't care as much about catching crappy drivers as I do stopping them from being crappy drivers in the first place.

Only those who get tickets claim to have fallen victim to a "speed trap" The cops know where people like to hammer it down and they set up in those locations. There isn't any unfair practices when it come to running radar in the metro area.

Basehor is known as being a speed trap... Anytime someone has invited someone new to come out here, that's the one thing everyone is warned about - WATCH YOUR SPEED! Those of us who have been out here for years, know where to go slow, and when to speed up. When we first moved out here 19 years ago, if you saw the cop car at the south end of town, you KNEW you could fly everywhere else, as we only had part time protection with one car back then... Not it's not unusual to see two cars running, so you never know when you're safe, but you do know which roads to avoid....

I watch, I interact, and I move among you. I'm everywhere and nowhere. I pull the strings, plot and scheme. We all are playing one huge game, but are you on the right team? Are you honest and true to others....yourself? I'm not angry, just a judge in what is right and what is wrong. I don't only speak about this.....I act.
