5 a.m. News on New Years Day?

Who in the heck made you guys get up on New Years day to broadcast at 5 a.m? I can see having a 8 a.m. broadcast or some type of holiday schedule. I feel sorry for you guys that have to be there reporting the news to the one thousand people in the entire city that will be awake and watching!!

I will be one of the one thousand.

Channel five didn't get up to do a broadcast, even at 6am, and Don lost his tie.

I need to learn how to use a mouse. Take 2. Don't worry Jigsaw, the morning crew is well compensated for their time. Plus BasehorLady is correct, you do what your told. And who cares what Ch. 5 does, that is the biggest bunch of hacks that I have ever seen, especially Katie Horner and her young son Gary Amble. P.S. Jigsaw-If your photos give me nightmares, I'm gonna come looking for you.

Whew! Thanks for reassuring me that it they get a paycheck for all their hard work. ha ha At least they were getting to sip on some bubbly grape juice. The guys were going crazy at work over Don's multicolor vest!!

hey I absolutely love katie horner, she is a sweetheart. I met her and she was in curlers and a robe. I had taken a tornado video that i had filed and she used it on her 5pm news backdrop. I dont know that I really care for gary lezak, I think his co-anchors dont like him, but maybe i am mistaken. I like Gary amble, hes a cutie. Love Don Harmons body. Just my opinions here...

The first 5 min of Channel 5 has a lot more exclusive reporting from what's going on around the city that channel 4 doesn't have.

Katie Horner is a trip though. If its sprinkling outside, she's cut into programming and predicting a 100 year flood

The whole time I was on vacation around Christmas and New Years, I never saw the morning news. I always slept until 9:00 am

I've news for ya Jig...just because it's a holiday, the world still operates. Maybe because you have the luxury of sitting at home and being provided for by the taxpayers doesnt mean that everyone else can do the same.Geez...
