So why is this guy let go?

Pollard is serving life, this guy gets off free.

An 85-year-old former US army engineer has admitted passing classified military documents to Israel during the 1980s, prosecutors say.

Kadish, who pleaded guilty to only one of the four espionage-related charges he originally faced, entered the plea at a New York court on Tuesday.

He is set to be sentenced in February and could face a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

However, a US prosecutor said on Tuesday that the government would not oppose a sentence that means Kadish will not serve time in prison, the Associated Press reported.

Yagur has been linked in court documents to the case of Jonathan Pollard, a US citizen who is serving a life sentence for a 1985 charge of spying for Israel.

Court papers say Kadish's alleged spying took place between 1979 and 1985, although he maintained contact with an Israeli consular official until this year.

Israel has denied spying on the US after 1985.

Classified documents

The charges alleged that the Israeli consular official, identified in the indictment as "CC-1", gave Kadish lists of classified documents to obtain from the US Army's Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Centre at the Picatinny Arsenal in the state of New Jersey.

The documents included information about nuclear weapons, fighter jets and the US Patriot missile air defence system, prosecutors say.

Kadish, who worked at the arsenal from 1963-1990, kept in touch with CC-1 via telephone and email and met the official in Israel in 2004, authorities said.

"CC-1" had left the US in 1985 and has never returned, the US authorities said.

Ben-Ami Kadish was accused of providing the documents, including some relating to US nuclear weapons systems, to an Israeli agent, Yosef Yagur, who photographed them at Kadish's home.

The statue of liberty should be taken down before her meaning kills us all (atacked from within). To many foreigners with intents no good for the US are holding positions in the government and have access to information that the US citizen has not a clue. It always seems the US citizen is the one prosecuted, I have noticed the same thing. Just like the border patrol guys and the drug dealer in the Texas case. I seem to think that US citizens are under attack by their own government. I think that is why Obama made the statement, now is the time for all black men to take care of their families and stay out of trouble. I am convinced that we have not been told of a master plan. I think the Russian prediction blog, I posted, is close to the truth. Just like Mexicans (legal or illegally)
knew when to buy homes in America and Americans were thrown in the streets. Our government had options to that so the "balloon" financing problem. If they would have given finance options prior to the "bailout" then we wouldn't have a large "bailout" debt. People in other countries seem to have a "heads up" about America where Americans have not a clue.
Because of "spying" America will be caught with its pants down, even if we have the best weapons the earth. We have the most ignorant people defending our secrets, or maybe it is intentional from the Nazi groups, to have control of America.

Just like the latest headline, Investigators said Savinkov was likely drunk and speeding. Ralph Sutton, 62, and Debra Sutton, 55, of Gladstone were in the car parked at the intersection and died at the scene.
Key word likely, why didn't they do a alcohol test to confirm? If it would have been Joe Smith it would have been instantaneous, but then that would give the family of the dead a bases for wrongful death and sue for estate. Sorry to rant and rave, but I agree with your blog, thanks for posting it.

Israel has a lip lock on the US and for what reason I do not know. Other than the US sends billions in aid to Israel, who in turn, buy military arms from the US (putting $$$ in the pockets of politicians) while the Israel military expend these arms against anyone with a frown on their face, and then have to buy more $$$$$ military arms from the US.
Why, does anyone have to ask why to we back Israel at our own peril, it is all about $$$$$$, not biblical, or anything else, just $$$$$$.

Yes what the guy did was illegal, but he's 85 years old and it would probably cost more to keep him locked up than it's worth especially if he's on a load of expensive meds and at that age he probably is.

So execute him. He's a traitor, and that's the death sentence he deserves.

Vision, yep you & I agree. Much more going on than said, that is for sure.

Nervous, I agree. All about big money! We must also ask ourselves, why are jews always on the run? Always fighting? They say they are being attacked, but they seem to be the cause of their own problem's. Iran is more of a friend to America than Israel. The Iranian's atleast tell the truth.

Old 49/63 resident, sure miss the Country Club Dairy.
