Vice Presidential Debate

- Date: October 2nd
- Site: Washington University (St. Louis)
- Moderator: Gwen Ifill

It is rumored that if going into the debate the polls aren't too bad and Biden delivers an acceptable performance at the abovementioned Vice Presidential Debate, he will continue to be the vice presidential pick for the dems.

But, if the polls, prior and post debate, are unfavorable and Biden's performance is considered to be "a loser", the dems will announce that Biden must withdraw due to health reasons and will be replaced by Clinton.

Interesting isn't it? If Biden is replaced, can Billary pull it out for them within 30 days of the election?

Deb good post, is this just rumor or do you know if it is fact? In order for the Dems to drop their VP selection they would have to call a special and new DNC to nominate and vote on Clinton to become the next VP candidate.
That would be a big mistake for both Obama and Clinton. Obama because it would show lack of decision makeing on his part and lack of leadership.
Clinton because she wants to be President not play second fidel to a junior Senator especially one she lothes. She wants to be POTUS in 2012 and if she is VP and brings her idiot of a husband along the in fighting would be horendes, also I dont think Obamas wife wants Clinton to be his running mate she has a real distain for her and probably thinks that Clinton would try to rule the roost and cut OB out of the pic, not to mention the way that dead people kept popin up around the Clintons.
Nope I dont think it will happen.

Hilarious, I hope it's true, what a statement of "LOSER" that would be. And I agree it would both show Obama's indecisiveness and he's have to keep rearview mirrors on all the time to protect his back from the Clintons. Absolutely hilarious, I love it!!! Keystone Cops trying to get elected....

This is nothing more than Rep. attack BS. Not gonna happen. Besides, I could win a debate against Palin...who has NEVER had a full time job...oh wait, she had a full time job for 20 months in which she accomplished getting investigated for abuse of power (Cheney II).

I know it sounds outrageous. However, really, really think about this. If McCain is elected, he will be a one-term guy but Palin is a two-term gal; 12 years total. Billary doesn't have a chance in this scenario. If Hussein is elected, he is definitely a two-term guy and has successfully disposed of Billary. Billary wants...demands...that she gets in...somehow, someway. I wouldn't put anything past that nasty, power-hungry person. Nor, would I put anything past the libs at this point. Libs are desperate and feverishly trying to cover their behinds on this financial meltdown. The only way they can accomplish their ultimate cover-up is to gain control of the White House and the Congress. Let us just wait and see. If nothing else, interesting.

Deb--what you say is not really outrageous, at least to me. The dummycrats are absolutely desperate right now, they are pulling out all of their smear tacticians, doing anything they can. Where is the outrage over hacking Palin's email? If it were Obama, Biden, or a Clinton there would be an outcry and investigations galore. This shows the hypocrisy of the dems and the liberal press.

And you're right about aks. She, too, creates reality--just ask her, IF she'll give you a straight answer. I doubt it.

Watched O'Rielly tonight, he had on a socialite, Sugar ?,(can't remember her last name)from Chicago, she said she introduced Soros to Obama and named a couple other money people (all women) that are in his camp and have big bucks, one in fact told Obama in no uncertain terms that he MUST be against the war if they were to support him......if you get a chance to watch it, they rerun it a couple times....scary that the liberal loons control him like a puppet.

AKS you never, never, never cease to amaze me and let me tell you I dont amaze easily. If you could hold just ONE 1, uno, ein, esi intelligent thought oh my god people would be so amazed this whole board would probably fold up and go away. Oh and in a debate that doesnt mean taking bait off a hook K?? That means puting at least 2 cohearent thoughts together. Something I dont think your used to. How did you graduate from collage? Now as far as holding a real full time job she actually worked on a fishing boat in the Bearing Straights and before you go and say that isnt a real job cause its seasonal, try it some time. You have to be one tuff cooke to even atempt it.
Deb I think your right about McCain being a one term guy but your wrong about Clinton I think she is so enamored with herself she thinks she could beat Gov. Palin hands down. The one thing she isnt counting on is if Palin gets in there then she will show everyone that she isnt all show and no go, she will be more all go and less show. Clinton will underestimate her. Big time I think. She doesnt want to play second fiddle she has dont that all her life with her husband and his cigars.
