Joe the Plumber (Joe Wurzelbacher) of Cincinnati, Ohio may be related to one Robert Wurzelbacher of Cincinnati, Ohio, who happens to be Charles Keating's son-in-law.
Nothing confirmed yet that I've found though. I've seen posts about it on CNN, Huffington Post, Daily Koz and a few others when I did a search.

Yeah, god forbid that someone, on purpose ask Obama a tough question, a simple situation that a lot of people are in that his tax policies will screw....

After the choice of Sarah Palin, why not someone like Samuel J.(Joe), who is not a licensed plumber, behind on his taxes, drives a gas guzzler SUV, but owns 2 guns, would not be the poster boy, and last chance for a failed campaign.

Ok,folks,let's talk about'Joe the plumber.All the right-wingers want to keep him in the spotlight so let's examine some statements and ask some questions.#1-Joe doesn't have a plumbing license.#2-Joe owes back taxs.#3-Joe want to buy the business he works for.Now,if Joe owes unpaid taxs he will automaticly have bad credit.With bad credit even the Small Business Administration won't loan him money.If he has the money hidden away to buy the business ,that means he is apparently guilty of tax evation(that's a felony).If he has no license,can he even pass the BLOC test for the mechanical trades? If not,what correct thinking private investor would ever invest in him?You see, Joe is in the spotlight but has lots and lots of problems.McCain says the media needs to "leave Joe alone",but uses his name in every speech.........can you say 'DUHHHH'?

Has the world forgot the word PRIVACY. McCain had no right to bring a citizen into the debate without first consulting him. If Joe was running for president all this would be our business. However, Joe has the right to his oppinion as well as the right to ask any question to the Presidental Candidates. I do not respect the fact that he is being drug through the mud for his opinions and dreams. We need to have the views of the people, however this man's personal life is being down graded for the benefit of the repulican party. McCain has done more damage than good in the eyes of American's who appreciate privacy. It will now be a matter of when people ask questions or make their God given right as Americans to speak their mind that they will be interigated. Sorry feel that this man is owed a public apology for the damage of his integrity.

Shirley: Joe asked Obama the question-Mccain had nothing to do with that.Also its the Democrats and Obamas campaign that have trashed him.Where are you comming from??????

Jimb: He probably has an arrangment with the current owner to buy the business and is not relying on conventional financing.Millions of Americans owe back taxes and are not guilty of "evasion".He will have to pay-he will probably work out a payment plan as many Americans do.

Imnot sure this applies to plumbers but the owner of the business is responisble for the license.Joe will be whan he actually buys it.

Its not smart for democrats to attack this man the way they are.This is just an average guy that asked the chosen one a legitimate question. Its Obamas answer that is the problem.That is why Joe is being attacked0diversion from Obamas honesty of redistribution of wealth.Most Americans understand that that is against what America stands for and flys in the face of the American dream. We dont want Americans to work hard so the government can take the fruit of your labors and give it to someone that hasnt.Obamas lead is slipping and I think Joe the plumber and the viscious attacks have somthing to do with that.We already have a progressive tax system-we dont need to go down the road of total income redistribution.We arent France! Were America!

Update:records show that Joe would,by all means qualify for a TAX CUT! Is it possible that Joe,with his questions and concerns,was a RNC plant?Besides,I spent 40 years in the construction business and you can't show me a 2 man plumbing business that could possibly do over $250,000 in PROFITS in one year.If a business such as that earns more than that in a year,they are definately involved in illeagle activity!

jimb: Joe hasnt bought the business yet!He wouldnt have his taxes raised until he was trying to employ people to fix plumbing,grow his business and achieve the American dream!

Maybe you were plumbing in the wrong area? Maybe joe did high end bath remodeling? You dont know but I just saw a pole that shows MOST Americans have a "favorable" impression of joe and democrats are looking bad by attacking him the way they have ,simply because he asked on honest question.Go ahead specualte all you like and bash joe to death-it only helps my side!

BTW:You are engaging in "half truths and rumors" on your post-disgraceful!

Wow poor Joe...he aspires to buy his employers business, is bashed for not having a government license (not required) and attacked for owing back taxes.

Democrats were on top of this guys life story a helluva lot faster than they have been on Bill Ayers or Jeremiah Wright or Tony Rezko's...or hell even Obama's for that matter. How many sat trucks were outside Ayers house or Wright's million dollar mansion? exactly none.

And how much was Rep. Charlie Rangle (D) NY run through the mud when the man who WRITES THE FRIGGIN US TAX POLICY LEGISLATION was found to owe $10,000 of property he claims he didn't know he owed on?

How fast did they go after Barney Frank when it was known his BF was an Fannie exec and Frank has spent 10 years fighting all regulation of his BF's company?

Or much did they go after a Louisana COngressman who had $100K in his freezer.

Guess none of them wwre plumbers are had a pregnant daughter.
