As I was waiting to check out @ the  supermarket today, I happen to glance @ the headlines on one of the tabloids...Michelle Obama looking all mad, and a picture of Miss Oprah in a less than confident smile.  The title said, 'Back off, there's only room for one first lady @ the White House!'

Let the games begin.

I'll be honest; when I heard the announcement that Mr. Obama is our new President, I was taken back and had to ponder throughout the night how I was going to accept the honor given to him as president of my United States. I must confess, I  was breathless while I sat on my bed, watching the outcome as the '"prize" made his way onto the stage.  I've decided to trust the God I sing about and praise,  to give Mr. Obama wisdom to run our great country. I will trust God to point Mr. Obama in the direction he should take.  I will not behave like most democrats have in the past toward President Bush. Yes, I will pray for  him as well.

Do you think I'm going to change my position of who I vote for since you stole my McCain-Palin sign out of my yard and everyone else's yard on my street?  You dirty low-down thieves -you are not  only breaking the law, by   vandalizing my property by stealing my signs, you are putting a bad taste in my mouth for the democratic party.

It's amazing to me how, in this election, it has brought out the true colors in people of all ages. A friend of my 18 year old, who has come to visit @ my home on several different occasions, and barely even spoke a word to us, decide to spar against my 15 year old on the fact why Mr. Obama is a better  candidate than Mr. McCain.  He spewd his venon w/ the tongue of a 42 year old instead of young person of 17.  I've decided now, when you enter my home, leave the politics outside the door.  Unless your for McCain and Palin. Then you may come in and have a cup of cappichino.

She was cool, calm and straight to the point. She knows her stuff and doesn't run to the hills but stays till the fat lady sings.  Go Baracuda!

Quite honestly, I didn't know too much about John McCain, and  I'd never even heard of Sarah Palin, until last week. But I tell you what; after reading and listening to them this week @ the RNC  I'm convinced they're not just showboat, they're the genunine article and they mean what they say. I'm very impressed w/ the families as well.    I'm looking forward to the Nov. vote so I can watch them grab hold of the public and win by a landslide!!!

Watching the DNC is better this year  than the previous years...I guess because I'm older and I care about what's going on in my country,  & I'm paying closer attention. My daughter will vote for the first time because she just turned 18.  Now my point to this blog is this.  I feel I have every right to jump up and raise my fist in the air and scream when my taxes are being raised; or when the price of gas raises again. It's my privlege to make comments about Hillary's speech as well, or gasp because Obama has been voted in for the Democratic nonimee.  I have these rights because I'm a registered voter and have been for years.  So, fellow bloggers,  if you're not a registered voter, you have no right, IMO, to gripe, sneer, gaffaw or show gestures when the wrong man wins the Presidental election.  I've been listening to the public and reading the comments by some who don't wish to vote and the reasons they have.  Bottom line. If you didn't vote you have no say in the matter. So, be still.  Many men fought for our right to vote. So, get off your fanny and get registered. Vote and be proud you did vote and be proud we live in the greatest country in the world where we can vote!!

I'll have to say Hillary had her speach designed to feather her nest for the 2012 election for President.  She's wanting to get into the Whitehouse as Ms Prez and will use every tactic to do so...I'm not the one who is saying this. One of the commentaters on Fox News said this last night.  I agree w/ him. She was full of dynamite and raren' to goooooo!

She thinks she's a rock star.  She had the smile, the glitter, and yes, the bright orange pant suit.
