The movie had me crying for hours.... It is wonderful, but if you like this movie you have to check out Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood. It is a little different but it is also a spectacular movie.

Vision the movie she is refering to is called Seven Pounds.

LOL!!! That is what my daughter and SIL said I got VIP passes for Christmas I think I will go see this movie for sure!

jhhwingnut, I saw the trailer in the theaters for the movie Gran Torino..I want to see that one for sure...I think Seven Pounds is one that should be up for an Acadamy Award and Will Smith deserves best Actor.

I agree vision....being a movie buff I attend two, three maybe four movie's a month if they look worth seeing to me....I very rarely base my opinion's on what I've heard from Fox 4's movie critic's....Never from Shawn Edward's if the movie involve's black actor's....he is biased, predjudice and just unreliable because his review's are so "biased" when a movie has black actors.....it's really a shame to be so blatantly predjudice...and the result is a "tainted" movie review....I agree with "searchingtoo" ....he has know business letting race enter into his job.....and because of his obvious "favortism" I give him "0" credibility and NO "popcorn bag's" as a "movie critic"...!!

Vision, I agree, maybe we should kind of start our own movie review, blogging in the "entertainment section"....nothing too organized or official....just write about any movie you may have seen in a blog or on the "message board" to be viewed by whoever wishes to read them....keeping in mind everyone has different taste's and like's/dislike's....and opinion's about what constitute's a "good movie"....I'd just read them and take from them whatever I chose too...alot of time's I really like movie's that other's have said weren't very good at all....that's what's so neat about it...a movie may really surprise you and you just may walk outta there quite pleased for "NOT" listenng to the "critics" who have no special talent's anyway...!!!

Not at all Chula....I'm simply...tired of the "reverse discrimination"..."you owe us....you owe us...chit...!! I worked in that environment for forty years....got sick of "the race card" being used like a credit card ...!!

I love good movie's and gun's....(they make up for the lack of a black belt...LOL)!!

This blog is about movie's....I simply wrote about something I tried to blog about a couple week's ago.....Fox 4 chose to "bury" it back in the back to keep from explaining "Edward's" predjudice....if you don't follow movie's and don't watch Fox 4's movie review's then you will have no idea of the validity of my blog.....there are other's who totally agreed with my observation's of Shawn Edward's review's.

It may seem that I "turn it into a race thing.", that is not true....but I do concede...many of the blog's I participate in, are controversial and have topic's where crime, firearms, "affirmative action", politic's (especially of late) and many other topic's seem to be affected by a black/white relationship. One of my best buddy's is a black guy/African American (whatever you want to say) that I worked with for years, we enjoy movie's together occasionally after we both retired....my point being....like I've said before....my predjudice is targeted to the criminal's....or people who abuse the system in the name of "equal right's"....or get more or away with more, because of there "color"...!! I am quite opinionated, as most of us that blog are.....otherwise I wouldn't have anything to say.....would I..!!
