I'll be honest; when I heard the announcement that Mr. Obama is our new President, I was taken back and had to ponder throughout the night how I was going to accept the honor given to him as president of my United States. I must confess, I  was breathless while I sat on my bed, watching the outcome as the '"prize" made his way onto the stage.  I've decided to trust the God I sing about and praise,  to give Mr. Obama wisdom to run our great country. I will trust God to point Mr. Obama in the direction he should take.  I will not behave like most democrats have in the past toward President Bush. Yes, I will pray for  him as well.

I would be OK with this, if he would Now release his Grades and a copy of his Birth certificate, ( the one that was sealed a while back)

We should be able to know who this guy is.

That's a reasonable request, Calco.

I agree as well calco,i dont mean to imply that we give Obama a pass on ANY of the issues we had before the election or any new ones that arise. Its no secret I dont like the guy but he IS our President now.I was SOOOOO frustrated in the past when the Bush haters condemned everything he said and did-I wished they would just give him a chance,I expect no less of myself.I just got pissed this morning when I saw all whinning and"Im leaving the country",im ashamed to be American" crap.If we hate it when the liberals talk that way then we should hate it no matter who talks that way-and I hate it!

...and you can make book that the DEMS are keeping their eyes on us Republicans-- on how we react w/ this decision. I want to be a good example to the DEMS and to my children whos eyes are on me as well.

Putting a master of disguise in the highest appointed JOB of this country without knowing his background is the STUPIDEST act of America even known or recorded thus. When you state you will pray to GOD, did you also read how a master of disguise is placed into leadership that the people adore and thus the war of Armaghetton does begin.(did you not get to that part yet) Yeah let "God's will" be done, chose by the people.

vision, the answer is not to be bitter, but to understand and grow in the knowledge that God is in control...

I really don't think that it is appropriate for you to write about laying on your bed breathlessly thinking about Obama's prize. Lets keep this thing clean. Just my opinion.

UNBELIEVEABLE, sweetart. I SAID SITTING ON MY BED watching the outcome. Get YOUR mind out of the gutter.

Yes, 2minikdz, you are right. We need to
pray that our next President will have
wisdom. Also, the Bible states that God is
the one who puts people in places of power.
I think He is allowing Mr. Obama to be
President for reasons only known to Him.

Oh, yes, Sometimes we get the person we
need in power, and sometimes we get the
one we deserve.

Although I agree that God is still in control of our lives as individuals (Christians) I urge you to peruse the book of Daniel. Got will neither protect or bless a nation of His people that have turned against Him. In this election we have seen 52% of our population openly vote for a man that stands for all things contrary to the Word of God. Of the other 48%, how many do you believe made their decision based on the moral issues above all else? Maybe 50%? So with roughly 24% (probably less) of our nation basing their decisions on God's Word, I believe that we as a nation can expect much the same fair treatment. Do, however, take comfort that God can use times of strife to raise those who are truly faithful to Him and His Word above the frey - those who do love God and put Him first (and live in the righteousness of Holy Spirit) have nothing to fear. It's time that all Christians indulge in the study of, and adherance to His Word; those who don't will undoubtedly discover the true meaning of consequence.

Didn't mean for it to sound so "preachy," but hey, I don't believe that I'm too far off on the message.

To forgive is to move forward. The 3 most hardest things in life are 2 trust- have faith- & forgive. Love heals. God is love.
